lollipoplolita writes, "Last weeks C-Mode Fridays was a blast and a nice success. We were pleased to meet some new faces and familiar ones. Encouraged by the last event, we'll be starting our C-Mode Fridays at 6pm PST/9pm EST/1am GMT again. We'd like everyone to come join us, and not just PSOW members. Anyone who enjoys C-Mode should come and meet up with fellow C-Mode enthusiasts.

VulpesMundi will be our host for the night and he's looking forward to playing with you and killing all the C-Mode enemies together. And now that you can upgrade your S-Ranks and add on elements to it in Gallon's Shop after successfully completing the East Tower online quest, you're going to want some brand spanking new S-Ranks to upgrade!

So join us tonight and lets get those S-Ranks!

lollipoplolita writes, "Some of you may already know this but our Episode 1 and 2 maps are all completed. You can find them in our guides section. You will also notice that we have printable maps in PDF format for you guys. You will need the Acrobat reader to view the files. Currently, only Episode 1 maps are available, but we will have Episode 2 maps as soon as all experience counts are completed. I would also like to add that new information is added to the site almost on a daily basis. If you would like to see what has been added lately, please refer to this thread in the forums or check out the "Last Updated Guides" module on our left block navigation. Hope the maps helps, and enjoy!"

Due to increasing member interest, PSOW has decided to restart our weekly C-Mode Friday Nights. The C-Mode nights will take place on Deneb 4 (The US & UK C-Mode Ship) every Friday, from 8:00 p.m. Pacific (11:00 p.m. Eastern). Our C-Mode nights are hosted by members: FluxGryphon and VulpesMundi.

This Friday's re-inaugural event however will start at 6:00 pm PST so that the people on the East Coast can join us. If we get enough people to show up this early, VulpesMundi might consider starting it early every Friday night.

We invite everyone to come join C-Mode Night, both people who are new to C-Mode and C-Mode veterans. Come online and meet fellow C-Mode players. Exchange tips and try to improve your time. Or be kind and teach someone new the ropes! Our first C-Mode night will start tomorrow. Hope to see you guys there!

We would also like to invite any other PSO forum, website or community to have C-Mode nights or gatherings on the same server and preferably also the same night so that we can get a big exchange of C-Mode players going on. If anyone is interested, please contact admin: LollipopLolita.

You can find C-Mode Info here and C-Mode maps here. Remember, we also have printable C-Mode Maps that you can access here.

You can read more info and participate in the discussion here.

RubyEclipse writes, "If you guys hadn't noticed, today at around 4:00 CST the servers mysteriously booted all the players off. If you tried reconnecting directly after being dc/ed, it came up with the message that "it couldn't establish a link with the servers, and that your internet data was incorrect". This was fixed pretty quickly; but I just figured I'd let you guys know..."

Thanks Ruby for the reporting, and sorry we didn't post this sooner!

Getintothegame writes, "According to Gamestop.com, PSO on XBOX will be released on 4/22/03. Also, EB-Games still have their release date set for 4/15/03, and XBOX.com still says it's going to be released some time this month."

Sega, Sega, why do you keep moving dates and making your fans all anxious? Not a smart move.

    Layrinn writes, "Heya,

I know it's been a while since you've heard anything out of me or Adam, but we finally have some news for you. A lot has happened since we sold that first batch of kits. We have a lot of happy customers, and we want to thank each and every one of you who've given us your support and encouragement along the way. =)

Adam and I have put a lot of thought into what would be the best step to take next, keeping in mind that our goal has always been to reach as many players as possible. The two factors that have most influenced our decision are: 1) with the Datel keyboard on the horizon, there may not be much demand for a large number of adapters, and 2) with our busy lives, we simply don't have the time to devote to churning out any kind of serious quantity.

So, we've decided to publicly release all of the information necessary for anyone to build their own adapter based on our design. We recently updated our website. There you'll find a complete list of all the required compnents and where to purchase them, the schematic diagram, the assembly instructions, and the PIC microcontroller program file. All of the components are readily available from online retailers. The only difficulty the average person would have gathering all the parts is finding a way to program the PIC chip. In light of this, we will still be offering programmed chips for sale. The details of that arragement are not known yet, since we'll really need to see what kind of demand there's gonna be for this service. For now, if you're interested just contact me directly.

So there you go! Anybody who wants one can go make one now! Thanks again for all your support. Check out our web page for all the details, and let us know if you have any questions. =)

Thanks again Eric and Adam for your wonderful contribution to PSO and it's community by helping to offer another solution or option for our keyboarding needs. Why don't we all say our thanks to these two guys!

Anonymous writes, "A New GameCube to PC Keyboard Adapter has been released by Allan and Adam of indiglo.net. The adapter will allow anyone to use a standard or wireless PC keyboard with your GameCube to play PSO. We have 28 of them currently on ebay for 45.99. Our adapter differs from that of the Happy Fun Box in that our box will work with 99.9% of the keyboards out there, and does not have a sticky key problem. Our design comes pre-assembled, so no soldering is required.

These boxes are not assembled Happy Fun Boxes. This adapter was designed from scratch, including the code. Although we do give credit to Eric and Adam, creators of the Happy Fun Box, for exchanging info. Thanks Adam and Eric!

Interesting, now we have even more keyboarding solutions aside from the ASCII and Datel Keyboard.

On a completely unrelated note, Sonic Team took down the White Day Quest and lobby decorations on 03/17/03 at 4pm JP time. Wonder when the next event is, Easter maybe?

Apparently, the Forum Index and Tech Support were corrupted. Although there's nothing we can do since it's Gamespy's (our host) goof, we're doing what we can to get them fixed. But this doesn't mean the forum is gone. The sections can still be viewed by kind of side-stepping into them. To help with the side-stepping, here are the links to the working sections so people can get into the forum. People can also use the Jump To feature at the bottom of the forum to move from section to section.

We're sorry for any inconveniences this causes and will keep everyone updated on the problem.
