• Phantasy Star Online 2 to Officially Launch in Japan on July 4th

    The Japanese version of Phantasy Star Online 2 will be exiting its Open Beta phase and officially launching on July 4th! Here are some of the highlights of the official launch:
    • The Tundra field will be made available.
    • Maximum Job level will be increased to 40.
    • The Matter Board will be expanded.
    • Arks Cash (AC) will be available for purchase.


    The Arks Cash purchase page will be launched on July 3rd at 3 pm Tokyo time. Due to the expected high demand for Arks Cash, it is recommended that you setup your account before the servers come online for the official launch. The following forms of payment will be accepted for purchasing Arks Cash:
    • Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, American Express)
    • WebMoney
    • NETCASH
    • MobileEdy
    • Bitcash
    • Mobile Suica


    An official guide for purchasing and using Arks Cash will be made available on the Japanese website.

      I haven't the slightest idea, honestly. I would say try your US card out and if it doesn't work, then........No idea. It should work though. Hell, if it worked for JP PSU...lol.

      do u have to purchase the arks cash or what? and is the game ready to play because i just got an update but i still can't log in.

      The servers are scheduled to come back on around 19hours from now TheSai. And you only have to buy the Arks Cash if you want any of the "extras" like your room, selling on your store, reset/new skill/mag etc (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19714

      no paypal and its not worth trying a card at all u need a JP address phone num ect its a big fat wast of time to try to get ac i got my card on file but it wont let me buy anything cuse it needs your name in japanese kanji and post code ect sega made it very bad for anyone from the usa trying to spend cash lol best just to free bee it for now. and hope for an NA date at some point

      Used a sort of prepaid card service present on my country and it worked (it gives you a virtual credit card to use). Anyway for the info you need to insert, stumbled on this on the forum.. http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=197204&page=2 , since it needs to be a japan address and such. The phone number there should be 03 instead of 3 tho. Still... wondering how would, say, expats or so fill it tho.. family house address perhaps?
