Hello PSOW! This is your new news team member signing in. It's a bit later than expected, but I wanted to give everyone an idea on what enhancements are coming in terms of the news content itself. First off, a couple basic points about myself to keep in mind:

• I've played a metric ton of PSO during it's lifespan.
• I have PSU accounts on both the PS2/PC and Xbox 360 servers.
• I'm a moderator on the official forums.
• I'm not a Sega employee.
• Some point Ryna already made.

I could probably go into an unnecessarily long autobiography, but I think that about covers the stuff I really need to get out of the way.

EspioKaos and I have been discussing how to best continue bringing the news in. I think there will definately be some positive upgrades in speed, quality, and coverage. Ryna has given us more features to work with than I could have ever reasonably asked for. There are a few more on the way too which I'm sure will come in handy for everyone. As usual, they will be given the proper limelight as they arrive.

As for the topics themselves, we're going to soon start bringing more news from Japan to the feed. This concerns both Phantasy Star Portable and the Japanese version of Phantasy Star Universe. Now, we realize that not everyone wants to have this information put in front of them unwillingly (as it could be considered spoilers or content that is too far away). Fortunately, for the users this applies to, there is a solution that will hopefully be arriving in the near future. For everyone else, we'll be keeping you updated on everything that applies to PSU now and in the future.  Stay tuned!
