The Japanese game magazine named "Famitsu" reports that Naka-san has made it very clear, that PSO2 is not expected to be coming out anytime soon, but he did mention possiblities or future expansions (PSOv3 anyone? ^_^;).

It would have to be pretty frickin awesome for me to even consider to get, at least anytime soon. I mean, besides cheaters, it's gonna take us forever to even be CLOSE to reaching level 200, so I think a ver3 would be really pointless unless it was really really really really really good.

umm...... even though its called ver.2 isnt the PSO ver.2 on the gamecube pretty much ver.3 since it has those other charecters?

Atleast this this little piece of news doesn't say "according to Mamak" I'll give you that one, but what'sup with these ^_^;; faces eh? Are you always nervous when you post? Looks to me as if you got issues man. Maybe you should consider laying off pso for a while and get yourself a good woman.

It's pretty sad to see Sega and so many other companies milking games by making version 300. Stop ripping us off and start making quality games again. Totally weak.

Well, PSO2 may not be around anytime soon, but that doesnt mean we cant talk about what we might like to see in PSO2. Come to my thread in the Fan Fiction section "PSO: Future", and put in your 2 meseta!

I would much prefer, a true sequel to PSO, something to do with the story line of Phantasy Star 1-4. But if Sega is going to really make another expansion pack to PSOv.2 then it better at least be a real expansion. In other words, NEW LEVELS!!!! Like about 4 more new levels at least. Forget new levels to max your character up to, 200 is hard enough as it is. Just give me some new freaking levels to use my lvl 200 character(If I ever get there) with.

Well To be honest I kinda felt ripped off by version 2.The only way I would buy another addon if they add more levels mans! I mean I cleared all the levels with my force lvl100 except the ruins! in 2 days! I want more levels man! damm and they need to be so stingy hogs about rare weapons too.

I would have to say that I'm with the notion of a true sequal or story line. If not I want all the characters thought of included as well as new levels. Other Worlds! (This is the future and we are traveling in space.) But if they do decide to release another version. I'm such a PSO junkie that I'll get it and transfer my 10 chars (have all sections and classes) over to that version?
