Getintothegame writes, "From Cube-Europe: "According to recent news Phantasy Star Universe will allow more then four people to wonder around in a team at once. Apparently several thousand players can create a team and wonder around the universe together. The new game also includes several new planets and races. The title will be released in Japan before the end of next year." "
Sounds like a real mmorpg? no?

TerribleDeliMeat writes, "Sega has released their list for the 2003 E3. Among the title is Phantasy Star Online Ep. III. Following the trend of card games recently, Sonic Team has opted to make it a card based game.
"Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution" (Nintendo GameCube): "Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution" expands the "Phantasy Star Online" (PSO) universe, offering a new style of strategic combat. Combining the excitement of card collection and deck settings with team-based battle tactics, PSO Episode III allows users to chat in the lobby about status upgrades and tactics, and then journey to the planet surface to engage in strategic combat using a turn-based Card system.
The game continues the story arc of the previous PSO games, as players once again become Hunters and explore the mysteries of the planet Ragol. Featuring both online and offline play, as well as multiplayer modes, PSO Episode III adds new content and players to the ever-growing PSO community. "
You can read the full article here. I have to say that our next installment of PSO is looking real exciting guys!

Getintothegame writes, "I just passed out seeing this, I have great pleasure passing along this news- According to GCAdvanced, there is going to be a Phantasy Star Online DS. Here is the article they posted: Top SEGA franchises on Nintendo DS? We caught wind of some unofficially announced titles that you can expect. In what is purely speculation at this point, a reliable source has passed along the wonderful news of new SEGA titles planned for Nintendo DS. Whether the titles listed below are currently in development or just in planning stages, you can expect all of these games to make an appearance in some way, shape, or form: Sonic DS Super Monkey Ball DS While those are the previously announced and/or rumored titles, we are pleased to pass along the great news of even more Nintendo DS support from SEGA: Phantasy Star Online DS Puyo Puyo DS "Project Rub" Phantasy Star Online DS (tentative title), is said to include both wireless and/or WiFi play, voice command options with the built in microphone and of course touch screen options. The rumored title, code named, "Project Rub," is said to be an entirely new and original project from SEGA for Nintendo DS, with no other information known. Perhaps from the suggested code-name, the touch screen will play a large part in the games creation. I will keep you guys up-to-date on this news. "
Hmmm that would be pretty cool, hopefully its not just a pure port with touch screen options. Thanks to Skett for also writing this to us.

The first Ebay auction for 50 adapters starting at 18:54:52 PST for the PC to Gamecube Keyboard Adapter that pantsofevilgamers.com has created and is offering sold out in under 9 minutes, each with an item price of $21!
Layrinn or Eric of pantsofevilgamers.com had this to say:
"The first auction went up and was done in less than 9 mins, and due to some email delays some people did not receive notification until after the auction closed. Let me just apologize to all of you who missed the auction and offer these words of comfort: more are on the way. I was unaware that eBay had implemented a scheduled auction feature, so I just busted it to get the thing up as soon as I could. Next time around, I'll be able to tell you when the auction will be released and everyone will have a better shot at it.
The reality was that we only had 50 adapters for this first auction and over 500 people (these are people who were on the email list- there could be more) vying for them. Again, don't worry. If this auction is any indication of the demand out there we will do our best to meet it with supply.
And for those of you lucky enough to get in on the auction- watch your inboxes. We'll be mailing out confirmations and shipping info within the next day or so. Thanks again...."
Congratulations to the guys at pantsofevilgamers.com. Maybe we should contact them and encourage them to have another auction sometime soon for those of us needing keyboards. You can read the adapter FAQ here. I guess it's time for them to order more parts! Congrats Layrinn!!

Well according to IGN, PSO Plus is gonna be coming to the US this August. Its said to be priced at $29.99. So I guess the US offliners can get their share of the goodies without importing.

Bleh writes, "According to Planet GameCube, PSO Episode I & II for GameCube is set to release on October 29th, and will cost $49.99, with a monthly fee of $8.95. No word on whether or not the game will come bundled with the Modem and/or Keyboard. Strange. GamesAreFun confirms the release and pricing as well, adding that "Nintendo's Network Adapter and Dial-Up Modem peripherals" will also be available on that day. I assume by "Network Adaptor" they mean the Broadband Adaptor. EBGames has both accessories listed as an October 22nd release, and both for $34.99. I can't find the Keyboard Controller anywhere on the site, though. Let's hope it comes with the game, and all these people just forgot to point it out. "
Thanks to all our submissions on this.

Gamespot has a story on ST's announcement that as of March 26, 2004 they will be shutting down their older v1.0 servers. This comes after users having over a year now to trade in their copies of v1.0 for the newer v1.1. You can still trade in your copy of v1.0 so that you will not be shutout when the v1.0 servers are no more. Sonic Team will honor this shutdown by running the v1.0 servers for free for a week before they shut them down.

ST posted today announcing that a new quest will soon be up and online on PSOGC. Rappy's Holiday is coming to PSOGC Tuesday, November 18. Rappy's Holiday is a online quest playable by 1-4 people and will be available under the Retrieval category. Some of you might remember that this quest was also available on PSODC. Items from the Gallon's Treachery quest such as the Rankina Stone and the Fragment of Friendship can be used in this quest. But we do not know the specifics and what the differences with this version there will be if there are any, so lets keep a look out when they are released! It also seems that Gallons Shop will have a new item available so be on the look for that! There will be server maintenance Tuesday, November 18 between 2pm and 5pm JP time to add the quests to the servers. Please end all online games before the scheduled maintenance and please do not connect to the servers during the maintenance. We have a working Ver 2 Guide with maps available.
