Layrinn writes, "Hey, I thought I would bring this to your attention. With the help of a friend, I have developed a fully functional PC keyboard adapter for use with GC PSO. I have posted further details in the Keyboard Information thread in the general forum. My partener and I have an informative web site in the works. You can view what we have so far here: http://www.pantsofevilgamers.com/kb/ Please feel free to contact us through our web site if you have any questions or comments. Sincerely, Eric Konizer - Layrinn "
Yes! I had been following your progress on other message boards in anticipation of your completion I would suggest everyone check out their website to see ways you can fight the keyboard situation yourself.

RedVento writes, "I was in a Game Stop near my house, and the East Coast Distributer for Sega was there. I spoke with him and the sales dude, pumping them both for information. This is what I learned : PSO v2 US release, if it comes out, not until November most likely.(Date he gave Game Stop) PSO v2 WILL be coming out for PS/2 with BBA support out of the box, and it will be free to play. GameStop already has SKU's for it. There will be 2 versions of PSO v2 for Gamecube, the initial, November release will NOT be online playable. They will release an online capable version afterwords(after Nintendo gives Sega the online protocol information I assume) Not all good news, but good overall for PSO and its continuing success."

God writes, "Those "GodIwannabecool" kiddies have once again bypassed Sega's filters for cheating, and once again made the world of PSO a dangerous place. So be careful out there! From their site: With this code, you can go online with cheats again without the worry of being banned! If Sonic Team tries to block cheating, which probably won't happen, this code will cause the game to freeze for a few seconds then disconnect, preventing you from being banned! Merry Christmas, Sonic Team! (and of course all our visitors too :) ) An unfortunate thing, however it does give everyone a distinguishing trait of potential cheaters. "

DooMStalK writes, "I've created a petition directed towards the Game Software Code Creators Club, the makers of several Gameshark codes for PSO. Vote if you think the PSO codes should be taken down."

Back in January of 2001, PSO-World was created with the vision that it would not only serve the entire Phantasy Star community, but be run by the community as well. Ten years later, the site is still here doing what it was meant to do from the day its virtual doors were first opened, thanks to the hard work and dedication of many different people who have helped carry the torch over the last decade. A lot of things can happen over ten years. People come and go, web sites appear and disappear, and a TON of games get released. We've been fortunate enough to see many Phantasy Star games over the last ten years, and even more fortunate that PSO-World and its outstanding community have been here for the entire ride.

With this milestone behind us, we enter a new era for PSO-World and its community. We have a lot to look forward to in the future of Phantasy Star and the site. Phantasy Star Online 2 is on the horizon and a steady stream of other titles has given us plenty to work on. It's time for us to take things to the next level once again, to better serve the fans that have continued to support us for all of these years. With that said, 2011 will not only mark the 10th anniversary of PSO-World's existence, but also an evolution of the site as you know it! It is going to be a great year, and we'll be looking for more people who want to be a part of it. For the rest of the details, though, you'll just have wait and see!
On behalf of PSO-World, thank you to all of the visitors, contributors, members, staffers, and everyone else who has supported the site in one way or another over the last ten years. Your patronage is what kept this site alive for this long and what will keep it going into the foreseeable future. We'll be celebrating this momentous occasion all year, so stay tuned for some announcements regarding contests, prizes, and more!

Locarno writes, "About 10 minutes ago, I recieved an email from sega tech. support asking when PSO is coming out; September 11th or 25th. Here's what they said: "Yes the official new tentative release date for Phantasy Star Online V. 2.0 is now 9-25-01." Well, the good news is that it's still coming and that you can still level up to 100 if your not. Bad news, obviously, is that the people who have been patiently waiting (I'm one of them) for the official USA PSO Ver. 2 will have to wait 14 days longer :(. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I wanted to get the real answer." Apparently, its confirmed... if we had some more sources that would be great too, just add them under comments please. ^_^

JediDeamon writes, "An interview with Peter Moore on the future of the Dreamcast can be read here."
An interesting interview, nonetheless. It also answers the question as to whether or not PSO ver 2 is still going to be released in America and the answer is still yes.

HUnewearl_Meira writes, "Sonic Team has patched the servers again. Now you can't log onto PSO with cheat codes running. I found out about this on the Phantasy Star Discussion Board, and further looked into it on the forums at CMGSCCC. Indeed, cheating online no longer works. Trying to log on with codes running results in a "cheat device detected" message. Good news for us, eh?" Well I'm sure that they made a little progress, but I'm going to bet that they will find away around it. Sorry to spoil the moment, but for now... you can play in safety.
