 Hey everyone, I've got good news for those of you on Blue Burst but don't speak Japanese. That's right. The US will be getting Blue Burst, and with it English mode (and possibly others.) The current release date given is Spring 05, and can be seen here on the left side.

I just got a note back from Armion (Sega rep), and he has stated that the downloadable version of Blue Burst will NOT be updated for Episode 4. Instead it will be just for Episodes I & II (sorry for not clearing that up). Start your pre-orders (and share who you're importing from as I'm having one hard time finding it.)

For Episode 4 beta testers, the server was updated this morning with the addition of a few new items, graphical fixes on weapons that weren't being held right, (saber being held as a sword, using the wrong end of a rake to attack.), a new monster has been added, and Government quest 9-2 has gone up. Happy hunting.

The Episode 4 beta test began at 18:00 JP time. 23 new files needed to be downloaded before access to episode 4 is allowed. As for those of you who weren't fortunate enough to get into the beta test, keep your eyes here to learn about all of what has been discovered. (there's already a video posted of the first area.)

Due to some issues that Sega was having today, the start of the episode 4 closed beta test has been delayed. It is expected to begin on thursday at 18:00 JP time (4am EST.)

The Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst Episode 4 Closed Beta is about to begin on the 30th, but those who know how the original was structured knew where to look for information about it. If you want to know what's in it, check out the thread that has been set up for it here.

A new cup to reach a number of kills is underway. What's the goal this time? 100 Million Monsters! This is the Edy CUP. 2 Quests have been opened which will make this a reality. First is quest much like the Famitsu Maximum Attack quests in the past. In addition a second quest will be available when certain conditions are met however what those are is currently unknown. However if the goal is reached, a great gift will be found.

There you can see the current kill counter, along with all secrets that have been unlocked. Just a quick note, if you use babelfish, you won't be able to see the unlocks as babelfish. Just look at them in japanese. (besides they're gifs, Babelfish can't translate gif files.)
