Also, the results of the Challenge Mode events have been made available. In the Time Attack category, Skyrim was able to compile a time of 2 hours 46 minutes on Episode 1. Listed below are the winners for the "Who killed each Boss the most" events:
LU killed the Dragon 400 times in E1C1
MAK" killed Del Rol Le 127 times in E1C4
Roddy killed Vol Opt 100 times in E1C6
No.II killed Dark Falz 100 times in E1C9

The end of the open beta draws near, and has been extended!
In a recent announcement, ST has decided to extend the beta by 4 days to June 13th the reasoning for this is because that is also when the AOL cup will be ending.
ST has also revealed a few facts about the full release. First, New difficulty modes and episode 2 will be added, along with episode 4 showing up soon.
Second, Battle mode and Challenge mode should be up soon.
Lastly, there will be new quests along with GM events coming up real soon.
while there are no specific dates set for any of these updates, it is assumed that some will appear immediately after some server downtime when the beta ends. And as a reminder, your characters WILL NOT be deleted at the end of the beta.
The status of wedding lobbies is currently unknown at this point.

I had a chance to speak with Clumsyorchid today about a few issues, here's what was revealed.
The next patch will contain the word wrap feature.
Corrupted files that are being downloaded are apparently coming from download accelerators and are requested not to be used.
There was apparently a glitch with the team point system, and points should be available soon.

Sonic Team announced today that drop rates are currently in investiagation and may soon be changed for Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst. Currently the VR temple and spaceship areas are in investigation, but its possible more may be added to the list.

Today, the 100 millionth monster was killed, and with it Ultimate mode has been opened. But don't let up yet. SEGA wants us to kill another 50 million to get 2 more rewards. Who knows what they could be! Remember tho, Ultimate mode in Blue Burst requires at least a level 100 character. Join the discussion here.

Even though Phantasy Star Universe is out, the Japanese version of Blue Burst is still continuing to be updated. The second versions of Maximum Attack 1 and 2 from the Gamecube have been added as playable quests. Also, the Login Contest has started. In this quest, you face off against 2 GMs. If you win, your team will earn the Izmaela. Otherwise, you will receive the Login Game Magazine. Finally, A new quest called "Claire's Trade" has been released. You will be able to trade in certain items for new items. For example, the Mericus (a new Force weapon) can be obtained by trading in a Caduceus, Glide Divine, Brave Hammer, and Kinger Striker. New items will be added regularly to this quest. In the future, Japanese players will be able to look forward to playing Maximum Attack 3 Version 2. Credit goes to Saffran for bringing us this news.

Sonic Team has announced the winners of the Second Illustration Contest for the Japanese versions of Blue Burst. The entries were broken up over several categories with the overall winners being displayed at the top of the page. Be sure to check them out The quality of the illustrations is very impressive.
