| Evil Shark, Pal Shark, Guil Shark |
|
Altered Beast form of the Booma species.
Hunters: They're pretty much handled the way you did with Boomas, but
they all have the capability to interrupt your attacks. If you're using
a single-hitting weapon like a Saber or Dagger, start your attacks early.
Use your Swords and Partisans in groups when online.
Rangers: Same deal as if they were Boomas. Use a powerful Handgun or
Rifle.
Forces: So here's how it works: Evil Sharks and Pal Sharks are both weak
against Foie, while the Guil Sharks are weak versus Zonde. It'll be easy
pickings unless you're online, where you'll see massive amounts of Evil
Sharks. In this case, you'll want to fire Gifoie at certain points. You'll
have to find a good position from the Sharks so you can cast Gifoie safely
and run away. You won't see many Guil Sharks, so just stick to Zonde.

| Poison Lily, Nar Lily |
|
Mysterious living flowers that can toss a blob of poison, paralyze non-Androids,
and stab you if you're in range.
Hunters: These will irritate HUmars and HUnewearls the most. Daggers
are not good against Lilies, so you either use a Saber or a Sword or Partisan.
Why a Sword/Partisan? Apparently, Lilies have a secondary target that
can be hit if you wield something that hits multiple enemies, but you'll
only hit it on your first hit of a combo. The "attitude" of
Lilies vary, so you might get lucky not getting paralysis. If you do,
let the Lily shoot a poison blob at you so you can cure yourself.
Rangers: Your ranged weapons save you here, especially with Rifles. You
could use a Shot, but as stated earlier with the Hunter strategy, you'll
only hit it once. Try Mechguns in the later difficulties.
Forces: In Normal Mode, Lilies are more vulnerable to Foie, since Barta
isn't that potent yet. But in Hard and Very Hard, you'll need to use Barta.
Barta's range should keep you out of their paralysis range. For Nar Lilies,
it's the same, though Zonde might work as well. As a side note, both the
Poison and Nar Lilies are also vulnerable to Grants.

| Nano Dragon |
|
Moderately-sized dragon with the ability to shoot a laser beam, a homing
pulse, and the ability to fly. It sometimes strikes other enemies, and,
if successful at killing them, its strength increases.
Hunters: The trick here is to not let a Nano Dragon sense that you're
nearby. Wait till its back is facing you and then run up to it. If you
did it right, it should always try to launch its laser beam. If it keeps
flying away, try using a Handgun.
Rangers: Stay at a distance and use a Rifle. If you want to have some
fun, sneak up to it as stated above and use a Mechgun.
Forces: The Nano is weak to Zonde in Normal, but Barta becomes its main
weakness later on. If the Nano is flying around a lot, revert to Zonde
as it is still potent.

| Grass Assassin |
|
Gigantic insect creature with the ability to keep you in place, but very
easy to defeat.
Hunters: Like Rappies, Grass Assassins require timing with your attacks.
If you're going to do a three-hit combo, try to make sure that the first
and last hits stun the Grass Assassin (Daggers are great). Oh, and if
you're chasing after one (after it tried to chase YOU), just go crazy
on it so it won't try to chase after you again.
Rangers: In this case, it's best that you're actually close-by the Assassin
and time your shots. A good Mechgun is fine.
Forces: Fire! Fire! The Grass Assassin's on Fire! Time your Foies right.
If the Assassin's running around, Zonde the sucker to stun it in place.

| Pofuilly Slime, Pouilly Slime |
|
Strange liquid blobs that take a semi-solid form when the user is nearby.
Let's deal with how to make a Pofuilly "stand up": All you
have to do is stand right next to it when it has stopped momentarily in
place. That way, you'll provoke it to take its semi-physical form.
Hunters: An irritating enemy to deal with. Since you can only dish out
one hit, make it your strongest attack. Try not to keep it idle. Androids,
use your Freeze Traps!
Rangers: When you can hit it, just do it as hard as you can. Androids,
use your freeze traps!
Forces: You people don't have to wait a very long time. The Pofuilly
would do the honor of splitting up if you used Barta on it, but some Slimes
will split up anyway, no matter which technique you use! Figure out if
Foie or Zonde is more powerful and stick to it. In the case of a Pouilly
Slime, it's completely invulnerable to Foie, but Barta and Zonde are okay.
Another side note: Pofuillys and Pouillys are also weak to

|
| Hidoom, Migium |
|
Odd beings with a blade for an arm. If one is in danger, the other monster
will come and stab Resta into the injured one. Hidoom uses physical attacks
while Migium's stab causes Jellen and Zalure.
Hunters: I'm going to say it now to save you all some effort: Hidoom
is the bigger threat. Grab a Dagger and keep smacking at it, then deal
with Migium. Don't let the Hidoom chase you!
Rangers: If you can pick them off at a range, then do so. Again, go for
Hidoom.
Forces: Although Hidoom may not look like it, but he's weak against Barta.
Try to get Migium in Barta's path to save a bit of TP for the Foie you'll
launch on Migium too.
