| Overview: |
The first part of this quest involves running through the fairly short Crater Northern route. While you are proceeding along this path, you will encounter Kireek. Talk to him and continue onward. You will have two choices for exiting the area. First, you can bribe the guard to let you through. However, if you've done the Sue/Bernie subplot, Sue will warp you to Crater Interior for free.
Crater Interior is a massive level filled with numerous enemies. As you progress through this area, the action will stop to play out a few scenes involving Rupika and Leo Grahart. Also, you will encounter Bernie and Ash. Be sure to talk to them. Additionally, beware of the guard asking for a bribe in Crater Interior. The information that he gives you will be revealed in subsequent quests. Once you clear the final room, talk to Karen and take the warp back to Pioneer 2.
NOTE: In Crater Interior, there is a guard that will ask you whether you have any Photon Drops. If you bring along some Photon Drops and have the Ragol Ring equipped, the guard will a few new lines of dialogue to say about Episode 4's backstory. |

About These Maps
On the maps below, the
path the player should take is denoted by a red line. Doors and laser fences that are
opened by pressing a button are also marked. Please note that switches are represented
with circles and fences/doors with ellipsoids. Colors are used to indicate which switch
opens which door/fence. Doors/fences that are opened as a result of clearing the room of
enemies are not marked. Since it would be impractical to label every single box, a green box is used to denote a
group of boxes. Finally, traps, including damage, confuse, slow, and shock, are denoted
using a generic Damage Trap icon. Like the box icon, a single trap icon may denote multple
traps. |

Walkthrough
- After the room is cleared, Kireek appears. Talk to him and proceed on to the next room.
- Once the room has been cleared, you can break this rock to enter a room with a Dorphon in it.
- If you've done the Sue/Bernie subplot, you can talk to Sue to have her open up a warp to Crater Interior.
- If you haven't done the Sue/Bernie subplot, you'll have to bribe the guard in order to warp to the next area.

Walkthrough
- When you reach this point, there will be a brief scene involving Rupika and Leo
Grahart. Also, the "Photon Drop" guard is located here.
- Once this room is cleared, Bernie appears. Talk to him and proceed to the next room.
- After this room is cleared, there will be another scene involving Rupika and Leo. Also,
Ash will appear. Talk to him and proceed to the last room.
- Once the final wave of enemies has been eliminated, there will be one more scene
involving Rupika and Leo. After that scene finishes, talk to Karen and then take the warp
back to Pioneer 2.
