The timed portion of Chapter 3, Act 2 features a switch puzzle. If you are unfamiliar with it, clearing this portion with S-Rank can be challenging. This guide will provide visual instructions for clearing this puzzle.

The five switches are located on the Northwest, North, East, Southeast, and where you came in (presumably southwest).

Ok, make sure to clean out the whole area with Laia. Some doors to the switches are locked if you haven't wiped out all the monsters. Don't put her on any switches yet. You'll benefit from the extra damage output, if any from her. When you're done cleaning out the whole area, make sure the NORTHERN door to the NORTHERN switch isn't blocked off by the laser fence. (There are ground switches around the area, and they're slightly toggleable, so play around with 'em till you get the fence for the northern door to disappear.)

Then, head out to the Southeastern switch, and put Laia there. Make your way to the Eastern switch. As soon as you push it, head to the teleporter in the room with the eastern switch. You should be pretty close to the door that leads to the Northern Switch when you used the teleporter. Quickly hit the Northern Switch, head out of the room, and make your way to the Northwest switch. Take note of the teleporter as soon as you run in the room. Immediately head to that teleporter and push the (southwest on map) switch in front of you.

This portion assumes you are using a fixed position map.Also, be sure to remember to run at all times!

1. Leave Laia on this switch.

2. Head towards switch 2 using this teleporter.

3. Get to the room that I'm in using the map for directions.

4. Push it and get ready to run. Head towards the teleporter.

5. I hope you left this door open. Tip: Don't touch any of the switches when you start this mission.

6. Quick, head west! (Look at the map if you need help)

7. Somehow the map got whited out when I screenied this one. Just go all the way to the west. (If you still need help, look at the picture below this one and find the blue dot on the NW part of the map.)

8. Have you noticed the teleporter on the way to the room for the 4th switch? Take that.
