• Sonic Team cheater device update

    HUnewearl_Meira writes, "Sonic Team has patched the servers again. Now you can't log onto PSO with cheat codes running. I found out about this on the Phantasy Star Discussion Board, and further looked into it on the forums at CMGSCCC. Indeed, cheating online no longer works. Trying to log on with codes running results in a "cheat device detected" message. Good news for us, eh?"

    Well I'm sure that they made a little progress, but I'm going to bet that they will find away around it. Sorry to spoil the moment, but for now... you can play in safety.

      lastnight when i was playing, someone was using Online God/Equip, using RAcast and HUcast(Berdysh,Yasmikov mechguns,frozen shooter) weps when she was a HUnewearl. Codes Work online.

      yep, codes still work online, ive seen multiple people still using god/equip, not to mention the "shrinking people" code, sega and there poor atempts to stop cheating, why dont they just unbann everything, and do somthing RIGHT for achange....

      Instead of just not letting people log on with codes, ST should make the server ban people with codes on. Not only that but retrograde ban all of the ones whom have used codes online as well. If the server just blocks the enable code and doesn't allow people to sign online with codes, then all one has to do is guess digits with the enable code until they find one that works. Just ban them the first time it's detected and they can't weasel their way around it.

      there is a way around this you know like if you have gameshark files on your vmu your v2 char wont find no rares well theres the same as if youved got god equip noling items exeded stats or any other type of cheated item or stats on your character and it can be deleted eventually do everybody will have theyr character deleted because either 180%'s or any other type of enhaced armor with 84 boosted defense or extra resistance on magic efects althoug you can keep em on the bank not 2 be used on online use
      kinda kills the whole efect on using rares do! since they are just too hard to find
      and then ppl will really want the hacking to come back lol kinda like a 2 sided bladed sword lol helps u guyz the legit *wink wink* ones but then again those nifty little 4 slots armors you love so much wont come around verry often and the thiefing will be just so boosted up as if it was just the end of the world lol really bad when u think about it

      Huh? I didn't even mention item modding. I'm just refering to online-only codes like NOLing (variation of Take Banned Items Out of Bank), WK, PK, etc. Item modders don't bug me too much, unless they plan on joining a team and ALWAYS whipping out a hidden % Needle. Play as you wish.
      BTW, I am legit and don't have any of those items that you mentioned so nyah! :P

      some ones got alot of time on his sad little hands. dont you think. you have to be a loser to want to use cheats to win. what fun is there if there are cheats. i hate cheaters

      Whatever Sega just did has made me quit PSO forever!>
      Lastnight i loaded up my Lv124 Hunewearl 300+hours.....i dont have any cheat devices....but i do have some hacked weps which i got as gifts from close friends.......anyways.....i logged on to pso Online and i got a Message about some error in ITEM/CHallenge thing.......it auto saved and i didnt know what was going on....hmmm so i reload my character and go offline to see what had happend......sure enough my character had lost some Hp and all my stats went down.....all weps and challenge ranks were gone!....i was equiped with a Saber Shield and lv1 mag!!...i was so mad!.but i just figured some friends could help me get my weps back online...so i quit and save.....then i try to reload my character and go online when now my Character is gone! it says press A and Reload!? What the heck!? i still have a pso file on the memory card but nothing happens when i try to load it!!!!!! Say goodbye to another lv 100+character my first character was lost in Ver1 like that also.....well i have no characters and am not going to spend another 700+hours on a game that is so messed up!

      I was playing PSO since Tuesday up until tonight, and ive been duping, god equipping, and had about 4 pk battles. As much as I want cheating gone, Sonic Team hasd to go to the root of the problem, www.cmgsccc.com

      Well, thats not the most accurate thing..i was jsut NOLed today but i powered off w/out savin and it saved my lvl 119 HUcast

      i personally think any1 who has hacked items should be forced to loose them. cause hacked items totally ruin the game. i dont care what u may say about that aint fair. you know its a sad time in pso when every1 and their brother has s rank spread with 60%. hacked items totally ruin the term rare. if u dont work for your items u dont deserve to have them

      Indeed. The items may be hard to find and earn but seriously why bother to waste $40 for the game, pay $15 every three months and have absoloutely no fun? Let alone buy a cheat device which costs another $20-$30. I don't know about the hackers but I kind of like to have money in my pockets.

      It truely is sad the way that some people just don't seem to have the ability to recognize that the point of the game is to earn these things, not to just simply have them. It's a shame, it really is.
