    ST posted announcing the start of the open beta trial of PSOBB will start on May 21, 2004. If you wish to participate, you will need the client disk which will be included in the June 4.18 issue of the Japanese Dorimaga magazine of the June 8 issue of the Japanese Techwin magazine. Their sites will also start offering exlusive downloads with no charge. You will also need a Game ID to register. Anyone with an email address can register for a Game ID.

      well the link seems not to be working 'cause it cannot be downloaded completely, won't let me get it do u know why??

      Make sure you have a torrenting program, such as torrentstorm. Without it, you just download the torrent file, which is more or less a link to the download. So it doesn't do you much good if you don't have the program to download it with. Be patient for it to start, too. It seems to take longer to start than other torrents for some reason, and may spit errors at you in the meantime, but mine completed this morning so it should be all good. Just be patient. I WANT A PSOW ACCT. DMMT!!

      OK, I just tested it. It works, all right. Now there's a problem with inputting characters so that you can enter your username. Apparently the japanese systems use a different keying system. There's gotta be some way to do this. I'm thinking of writing an executable that waits like 50 seconds and then enters the info, since you can't do it by keyboard. Now I just need a way to find out what I need to enter. Can someone who knows about the japanese operating systems inform me more about this?

      OK. thanks for the info. I downloaded the torrentstorm and its already downloaded,but would you please tell me how to open the file in order to install it on my computer...thanks once again : )

      HELP!!!! which program I'm suppossed to open the file with???? it looks like is a missing shortcut, and it won't open without having me to choose for a program first,i tried torrentstorm and everything but i cant figure it out please help me!!!!

      2 things first. Calm. Down. Try this first. Open torrentstorm, go to settings, and click associate. If that doesn't work, just drag and drop the .torrent file into torrentstorm and it should start. You think you're frustrated? I have it installed and working, but I can't ENTER MY DAMN USER ID AND PASSWORD!! SO ... CLOSE ... YET ... SO ... FAR ... [b]ARGH!![b] Oh, another thing. Once downloaded, the file is in a .rar'ed .cdi format. You'll probably want Daemon Tools so you don't have to find a program to burn it to cd. That's what I'm doing and it works fine.

      Anyone else finish the download?

      OK. I think I've realized what I need to do. I need something for a japanese keyboard language. Not keyboard layout, but a different language entirely. It's frustrating that US Windows comes with NO Japanese support initally. You have to do it all yourself. Can anyone help me find it? I've found a file for the Japanese keyboard format, but that doesn't help much, as all it does is let a Japanese keyboard input US roman characters. I need a file to install a different keyboard language entirely, even if it's not supported by the operating system, as it shouldn't matter. PSOBB should support it, and pick up the characters. If ANYONE is this far yet, please PLEASE reply!!

      Thank u, very much I've finally got it installed in my machine,but ....I cannot input my Id and password(which i didn't really never get)because i could not understand those forms!...:0...ahhhhhh!!! Its driving me Nuts!!! Can you thing of any solution to this??? cause i'm not even in the mood to think .I wanna play this game DAMN IT!!!

      Nah. The 98 thing doesn't work. I downloaded that file back when I went to sign up for the Beta so I could see the characters. I'm beginning to think that you can't do it with 95, 98SE, or ME, unless there is a way to install a keyboard language WITHOUT using an IME. IMEs don't help in this situation. The XP thing does work though. I tried this 2 days ago with my friend and although he doesn't have an ID or password, he was able to enter text into the prompt.

      OK. Try this. Go to Control Panel -> Date, time and language options -> regional and language options -> advanced -> check Japanese language (assuming you still have your XP cd) and click apply. -> I'm not sure if you need to restart after this or not, but then you need to go back into the language options, go to the language tab, then go to languages, details, and ADD japanese. Look around a bit and see if there's an option to switch languages with ctrl + shift or something. If there isn't, then set it to your default language. It SHOULD work. Remember I don't have XP so I haven't tried it firsthand yet.

      : ( you know I"ll give up with this shit ,there's no possible way that I can type anything while i the title screen, neither to get my damn Id & pass...so thanks guys 4 all the help, but all my efforts were worth a shit,and i guess i'll buy the cd when it comes out for sale here, and I hope they translate that to English cause i'm really sick of that DAMN JAPANESE!!! I don't want to see anything written in japanese for the rest of my entire freaking long life....ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! DAMN IT!!!!!!!! : (
