• Update on Error 60 and 65

    Over the last few days, online PC/Playstation 2 Phantasy Star Universe players have experienced numerous difficulties logging on to the game. Error 60 has prevented most players from logging in for long periods of time. The only recourse to this problem has been for players to leave their characters online and avoid signing off. In addition, there have been several reports of players renewing their Guardians Licenses and being locked out due to Error 65. Earlier today, the following message was posted on the Phantasy Star Universe website to clarify the situation:
    "Hello Everyone,

    As everyone who's posted here already knows, we saw a huge surge in error 060 and error 065 over the weekend. We have support staff here and in SOE looking into this and working on a fix.

    For everyone who's already sent in a trouble ticket, thank you for passing along your information. Even if you don't hear back from us right away I promise we are looking into each issue to figure out where the problem is. If you haven't sent in a ticket and are still having login issues, please go ahead and submit to help.sega.com.

    For those of you who have an Error 065, please do not attempt to create a new account unless you want to be double-billed. For most of these issues so far, it appears that accounts are valid and paid for, but not being recognized by the system. We have already begun forcing through some of these so that they are recognized, and we are working to figure out why this is happening and a fix to keep it from happening to everyone else.

    Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work on this!"

      This was happening long before the weekend if they read comments on PSU forums and on here. And they release a statement 2 days after the weekend?
      If they read the forum posts people were anything but patient or understanding about the situation.
      Oh well, its working for me now although Saturday and Sunday I spent nearly 2 hours each day spamming the log in page again and again and it really was frustrating. I just hope when I go home tonight i'm not greeted with that dreaded error messgae >,<

      Awesome! It works for me again. I've tried numerous times today and it's worked everytime. It's been close to a week since I've been able to play. Hopefully everyone else is getting on without problems.

      well tks sega for messing up the 1 event I was looking forward 2, bad enough I lost the weekend of play for the summer event do to "ERROR 60". But now that error 60 is suppose 2 be fixed I get it again on the last day of event so I won't be able to get killer Elite. So warning everyone ERROR 60 is not gone at this time!

      Uh...the event doesn't end until 6th August.
      This error is getting increasingly annoying though; the length of time this has ran for is ridiculous.

      yeah... uhh... i already know what is going to happen if you guys cant sign in by August 6th, SEGA will have to EXTEND the event to an extra week.

      I am really losing my paitence with SEGACs constant fails at running an MMO this is beyond ridiculous and needs to be rectified ASAP or they will lose alot of players who has had enough of the constant bs

      Soo the game works fine all week and again it comes to friday the time when most people will play most as its the weekend and again, like last weekend it messes up again at probably the most critical time. I thought after a week of hassle free logging on this error was a thing of the past, but I guess its not so. SEGA says they'll respond to every persons complaint?
      How about fixing the problem instead of wasting your time trawling through hundreds of complaints as people won't have anything to complain about if they get off their posteriors and fix this, surely it can't be that difficult?
      As soon as I manage to log on tonight I'm not going to switch my computer off until sunday, i'm fed up with spending an hour or two hitting the retry button countless times its soo frustrating >,<

      Im still having trouble, I cant log in at all. That maintenance thing is still with me and I dont know how to stop it. All the instructions I get is go to help.sega.com then im stuck, I dont know if I'll ever come back. I wanna come back so badly too, I'll miss psu. : (

      I am still getting Error 65. This is getting very frustrating. I'm getting close to being done with this game even though I still love it.
