• PSP2 Online Room Bug

Details recently have come to light concerning a bug which affects players' rooms while playing Phantasy Star Portable 2 online. This bug occasionally makes the decorations displayed in your room disappear permanently. While it does not seem to occur all the time, SonicTeam recommends players to remove all room decorations and keep them stored away until further notice. A fix to this bug is being investigated, and more information will be posted as it becomes available. To players who lost decorations to this glitch, in particular, unique items awarded by achieving certain titles or through password downloads, compensation is being decided, but full details are still under wraps.

Could Sega actually deliver more content and updates on the PSP than they were able to on the PS2? I know ones a console and ones just a handheld. But isn't the PSP built better for online games and downloading and all of that? After all, no one is really limited to an 8MB memory card.
I'm not to tech savvy with all of this but it really intrigues me how the PSP, such an old handheld that barely utilized infrastructure, with the exception of a web browser, at launch has turned into a gaming platform that now plays an MMO we've all come to know and love on the PC, PS2, and 360 even better than it's counterparts. Does PSP2 have the potential for real DLC? And comparing the PSP and PS2 side-by-side which has better specs?
One more question that's even more off-topic (sorry) does the demo still work online? lol

The PSP has the potential for real DLC, this is true. Recent games (like Disgaea II) have been doing this. They can deliver real content online and the games can read it. Pretty exciting, huh?

Yep, the Playstation Portable allows for gigabytes of data to be downloaded as DLC because of the Memory Stick Pro Duo slot in normal PSPs as well as the internal memory in the PSP Go at a standard 16GB (32GB with a Memory Stick there too...)
Normal PS2 only allowed 8MB (lol megabytes) minus the PSU memory card file size to be downloaded (in an optimal scenario) 'cuz of hard drives not being standard on the PS2 and PS2 slims not even being able to support them normally...
With all the storage space available to PSP2 via the Playstation Portable, there is definitely potential for some awesome DLC!

Ahhh so much potential! ^_^ I hope DLC is a reality for this and I hope we get to enjoy the luxury of DLC as well once PSP2 is localized.
