So how exactly does a story that's in japanese "Fail" Do you know how to fluently read japanese, have you even played enough to follow the story?
As far as im concerned PSO 2 is better than PSU. why? It's new, different and fun (to some extent). PSU actually bored me so much i literally started falling asleep. No Joke. Back when i subscribed to the PS2 servers in 2008.
and as someone previously said it's new, still being worked on. in order to get new areas you must progress through quests and missions, have you bothered doing that?
Bashing a game thats new is just sad. Just like saying a new born babies ugly.

I have an intermediate grasp of Japanese. The only thing I have trouble with are certain Kanji, but I know all the Hiragana and Katakana syllabary, enough to follow the story. I'm about 30% done on the 4th matter board, have all the current areas unlocked, and have done enough story content to form an opinion that, as of now, it's not better than PSU's and no where near as good as the dark-toned PSO's - a game it's marketing itself as a sequel to. That's probably more than you can say to validly object to my opinion. Also, PSO and PSU's story came complete, on disc, day 1 of release, I didn't have to wait months for them to "complete" the story. I will give the benefit of the doubt that it's new, but in a year's time, do you expect that they'll have added new lobbies to wander about in, such as a Casino, Hotspring, Beach, etc, remember PSU had a tonne of lobbies after AOI came out, and missions that were specific to them. I doubt that, but we'll see. And, for the record, I knew you from PSU; we were actually friends. I'm not gonna say who I was (muahaha) I have chat logs and mail logs with you, and you liked PSU a lot back then in 2008 (you "despised" WB, however, haha). PSO 2 might be great to you now, cause it's new, but I wonder what you'll say about it in 4 years time when there's a new one, or hell, if there's a White Beast equivalent that everyone spams, for you to "despise".

That's probably different if they have higher difficulty levels...
