WAHOOOOOO! I've been waiting for this day. I haven't played PSO for months because of this. If new codes don't come out or are stomped fast, maybe I'll buy V.2 ...

Yeah, but now they will have the incentive that ANYONE on the server is paying them on a (more or less) monthly basis for their use. If Sega really IS going to more actively combat GSers who can't deal with playing the HARD WAY (Heh, like it's all that hard in the first place,) then maybe the $15 isn't such a waste after all, eh? ^_~

Took him 90 minutes to make an anti-xploder block code after the patch was implemented in the maintenance.

Codes only affect the game if you are bothered by others using codes, just play the game as if no one is using codes, and don't worry about cheaters (Sega will eventually stop them). If you think someone is using codes, you can join a different game if it is a problem.

hahahahaha sega is wasting time trying to stop cheating. As long as there are hackers there will always be a way to cheat. The code has already beeen cracked. i think it took wat? 1 day for them to crack it. sega should work more on making more challenges and making more holiday goodies maybe even unban items.....

Well at least Sega is showing that they are willing to take a stance against cheating. Hopefully, they will be able to implement something that can be more effective next time. :/

It's hard to ignore the cheaters when they're there getting into your passworded games, PKing, stealing your stuff, or freezing the game and causing you to lose a mag you've worked so damn hard on!!

well, legitamacy does have a relavance,as legit players do not do any of the following: pk,ck,dupe, use experience modifying codes, freeze games so others lose their items, walk thru walls to get to the end of the level quicker,or all in all,do not use any type of gaming peripheral. they play the game as it is with out any code to modyfy the game itself. these so called hackers are doing all of the above and then some. so with these hackers around, pso isnt purley legit, and since i kno dam well that these hackers wont give up,pso will NOT be legit again, sure, theres yet another patch by sega, but whos to say it wont be fixed by tommorow.
