    HUnewearl_Meira writes, "The downloadable quest, "Soul of Steel" is now available to US v2 players. This new quest features the infamous Jean Carlo Montegue, as well as Elenor. BOTH go with you down to Ragol, and you have the pleasure of learning some vital secrets concerning Elenor, and her SISTER, Ult. This new quest also gives us a better feel for the relationship between Hunters and the military aboard Pioneer 2, not to mention, that this quest actually adds to the overall plot of the game. Definitely worth a download-- the most profound downloadable quest, to date."

      um, i live in europe, well, the UK, i had the option to download it when i went online lastnight, i think the EU players can use US stuff if they have 60hz enabled when you start up the game.

      OK you're probly right, I checked for the quest as soon as this news article came up so i probably didn't leave enough time for it to be put on the EU servers.

      I live in the UK too and i couldn't download it ( it just wasn't there! )and i was on 60 Hz. i can download the japaneese version if i wanted to but i just can't understand it.

      For those who have played Spirit of Steel to it's fullest...how do you unlock everything in the US version? Can we unlock anything at all?

      More specifically:
      • Can we get the 'Accessory' from TTF and how?
      • What is the US version of the 'Sleuth' online quest?
      • What exactly does that unlock?
      • Why won't this mag evolve for the third time?
      • Why doesn't it indicate a sequel once completed?
      • Should I just forget about all of the above? :

      Hello, I was wondering if someone who downloaded this quest could upload it from their VMU anywhere and send the URL so I can download it without having to renew my Hunter's Liscence. Thanks!

      You can get the [Accessories] from
      the online quest [Towards the Future]
      by doing the [Love Test].
      You must be reading the Mamak guide for
      this quest. The "online sleuth event"
      is a mis-translation. The Mamak guide is
      from Sakura Byori's site. It has the link
      at the end of the guide. I read it. It
      say "offline Sue route event", this is
      what triggers the third evolution. But,
      you must play in the same level in which
      you follow the "Sue route event." The
      "Sue route" is opposed to the "Kireek
      route."
      "Sequel" is the word that Sakura Byori
      uses in his site guide, but it is the
      wrong word to use. It should be "epilogue."
      And it is not "mention" or "indicate," it
      is "becomes."
      "To get the epilogue. Get the real
      ending and use the following answers,
      [Rescue Elenor], [No], [No], [No].
      Complete the quest at the Hunter's
      Guild counter. Then play [Soul of Steel]
      again. It becomes the epilogue."

      That wouldn't work. Ver.2 download quests are coded on download to work only with that copy of the game.

      no matter how much i try i can't download it the download menu is there even today i couldn't see it and it isn't in the list even today i couldn't see it ! I am using ver. 2 and i'm wondering if any PAL PSO players are having a similar problem?

      To dl a quest at the startup go to download instead of ship select ot whatever.

      There was one download quest in english for PSO Ver.1. It is no longer available on the PSO server. However, you can get it at http://www.psoquest.com/pso1-downloads.shtml

      okay yes we can get the acessory to get it from ttf u need to do the loe subquest story plot in it. (this requires 2 players with 2 characters of OPPISITE sex. To start talk to the programmer lady near the bank) Last I checked there is no longer a sleuth event and never was realesed in the US atleast. I will add that there is a way to bypass this by 1st doing all the offline quests then entering the ones with "Bert" in them and his partener. These quests are the same ones must do to fight kirreek. It unlocks a supposed epilouge sequnce after u beat the quest. Also it is rumored u can get a sequel quest aswell. U can only get the sequel as i recall if u beat it by getting the good ending.The requirments for that are the same as the epilogue sequnce. Dont be discouraged.
