RubyEclipse and the Sega of America PR Team are going to be at the San Diego Comic Con from July 23 to July 26. If you are able to attend this convention, you maybe able to obtain Phantasy Star swag such as Phantasy Star Universe wristbands, Blue Orb Texters, Phantasy Star Universe figures, and Phantasy Star Zero inflatable Rappy Armbands. During last week's update, a new set of items arrived at the Desert Arms Shop. Six of these were striking weapons with four being only available with a particular element. *Here are the item names followed by their intended restrictions and further followed by their current restrictions:
As was discovered over the weekend, these items have been restricted on the English PC/PS2 and Xbox 360 servers to have specific percentages. The two weapons which should be available in any element are also restricted to a particular element.
A fix to these items has been announced to be coming soon. The JP 360 page has mentioned that the team is planning compensation, however they have not stated what it is or when it will occur.

Update: The official Japanese 360 PSU homepage has shown that the first event mission, prologue mission, timed rewards, and Sonic lobbies will last for three weeks and end on July 23rd.
The voting galleries for the Event Illustration and Stick Figure Assault contests are now open. Stop by each voting gallery and vote for the submission that you like the best. The winner of each contest will receive an art book autographed by Takao Miyoshi! The second, third, and fourth place winners in each contest will receive a rare Phantasy Star Universe figure. nProtect GameGuard recently added support for Windows 7. *As a result, Phantasy Star Universe on PC received a number of updates to the program last night. *Users are now reporting that it can be played on Windows 7 RC2 (Build 7201) without the issues seen before. *With this update, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are supported.
Microsoft plans to release the full retail version of Windows 7 on October 22, 2009.

Xbox Live will be unavailable due to a maintenance period planned for Tuesday, June 16th. It is scheduled to start at 12:01 AM PST (3:01 AM EST, 7:01 AM UTC) and last for up to 24 hours.
This downtime is said to be in preparation for recently announced feature additions to the service, however none will be available directly after the maintenance period.
