Changing class right before a lvl up?

Lets say a Fortetecher is trying to gain ATA, would it be beneficial to change to a Ranger right before the lvl up?

no. Your stats at a certain level + class leve are set, and will always be the same regardless of what classes you are when you get levels.

I'm glad it doesn't work that way, personally. Can you imagine having to grind mission points while avoiding EXP just to hit advanced class as early as possible? Sounds boring....I like not having that pressure.
