i called xbox because i just got my replacement 360 from microsoft and i tried to get online but i couldnt. so i called xbox customer service and told me xbox live is down.

are you sure? i just tried again and the test xbox live connection will confirm everything but xboxlive

I'm signed in right now. You may need to change your Xbox's connection settings.
