SE, I dont understand -.-

Here's the case -
Infection lvl 3, hit tengohg 50000 times, no infection.
Poison lvl 3, hit tengohg 2 times, poison sucess...
WTF?

Just random luck. Getting SE lvl 3 on monsters like Tengohgs can be difficult.

Well, I'm lvling skill on tengohgs, I've went through about 20 bows(each bow is like 200 hits) with insei-sou(lvl 3 infection) and not once did it proc, then I switched to damdiga(lvl 3 poison), and it proc's on average once per 10 hits

Might be resistant to infection. Try burn.

Large enemies have different rules on what SEs will work on them. I know burn level 3 will work, and apparently poison 3 as well. But for freeze, you need to be using level 4, perhaps virus is like this as well. Paralysis doesn't work at all on them

It was my understanding that traps apply status effect level 4.
