I saw the preview episode on a Newtype preview dvd, rushed out and bought the collectors box and vol.2 the next day.
The first two episodes throw a lot of info at you but it slows down and stretches out towards the end of the first dvd. Lets you sort out the events at hand. Second dvd ended on a cliffhanger and now I run into long wait until march before the next volume comes out.
But other than the wait, Im enjoying it immensely I recommend at least giving it a try. Characters are fitting for the roles in the dystopian society, not quite emo but definately not cheery, Re-L kicks ass, Pino is scary, and the art direction and production values are very high. The animation dips after the first episode but its still top notch.
