When I play online I noticed some people's names were in yellow, I was wondering what that means?

What version? I know on DCv1 if people had a yellow name it meant they were on v2.

Yes, I am pretty sure it is.

Edit: I found out it means challange mode ranking, here is a question about that. To get SRank you need to beat it in under 7hrs, does that mean if I don't get SRank the first time, I can go back and redo those quests I took too long on?

Not just 7-hours, but you have to beat each challenge stage under a set "S-rank" time.
