Avatars

I have a very serious question about the avatar situation. How come I cannot use my own avatar on my profile? And how come some users, not counting mods, have personal avatars not listed??? For example, Dizzy-Di's awesome avatar isn't on the list. How come we all cannot use our own custom avatars??? EDIT: I just read the sticky and I realized that this is compeletely pointless. Why not???????? I still want a reasonable awnser to this. Oh and Saladwood those are not good reasons at all.

You're asking quite a lot, but I'll try to give ya some answers.

We are a site about the Phantasy Star games, that's why we want to have avatars of & related to this series. Don't you think that's reasonable?

Non-staff members with special avatars are either former staffers or contest winners. They won the chance to have a special personal/customed avatars. That what they earned for partcipating & winning. Perhaps you can win an avatar next time? Be sure to join when there is a contest. ;]

I think that's more than enough to answer why.

Now, if you like some images from the series, submit them here. If they are good enough, they would be added in the next update. That's how many of the avatars are added to PSOW as well.

There is currently no contest planned yet. But we hope to be able to have one, once the backlog of things cleared up a bit. Afterall, this is PSOW's 6th year.

When a contest starts what do you do in it? Is it quizzes? and is it related to PSO/PSU or not?

i still like the idea of personal images... i geuse if we made our own that were related to the game would that be ok?
