Haha, man, you'd be surprised at some of the things that'll eat its own first litter. I'm not sure if cats do, but a shocking number of mammals have no qualms about partaking in that most taboo of cannibalisms. Which, by the way, is evidence enough for me to consider basically every sub-human animal morally pure. Almost anything and everything they do or do not do is biological and not a question of (knowingly) right or wrong. And of course I know Anubis was at least half joking, but I still thought I'd make a point to mention this idea of mine. I don't think I could even call wasps, my sworn blood enemies, truly evil beings.

And if that wasn't enough, my allergy to them triggers my asthma, causing my breathing to become labored.

And Cats are not exclusive to "americans". They were even of holy status in Egypt. Chinese emperors used to have cats as pets as well. Usually they don't. But it doesn't mean never. Heck I've seen people have skunks, scorpions, alligators, lions, etc as pets. So the possibility is present.

This is false. It doesn't happen with cats; their instincts are to go out of their way for their kittens, no matter what - not eat them.

Male cats, however, are driven by competative instincts to pass on their own genes, and female cats don't go into heat when they're nurturing kittens. Do the math.

For the record, though, things like that happening with felines, is about as likely as any other mammal - it's not exactly common. Less often than rare, really.

Cats are cute, funny, absolutly adorable, far more independent, have personalties and tend to be so much more cuddly. They keep mice and other small mammels from destroying the garden and are brilliant as personal alarm clocks (skittles connonballed me the other morning to wake me up). Don't need anywhere near as much attention as dogs, so of course i live cats and kittens. Anyway, i've never known a cat to eat its own litter and even if it did it would be because they didn't feel that the kittens would be safe.

I like snakes as well, although most people think me crazy, who cares.
