As someone that has worked in an IT department (granted on a small scale) I find it rather sad that someone would quit over this. Crap happens. Computers are perfect. Neither is the security on the internet which was by no means initially designed for what it has become. Guess if nothing else it's one less person to listen to whining about the lack of perfection in their world.
