Member spotlight is back?

ANd that somewhat is exciting! XD.
ya know, 1/1000000000000 chancew im selected..
But i have 2 questions :
1) Seeing as it isnt annuel, when is a member chosen to be in the members spotlight?
2) What does one need to accomplish to be in the member spotlight. I vaguely remember Ryna talking about bribes..... And something about Ramars

1.) When flame of the Eclipse Torch flares, we begin the Member Spotlight Ritual.

2.) We have a golden dove that was hatched by harpies, that we use to decide the Member Spotlight. We release it over a grid with members' names, and whichever name is hit by the dove's silver defecation obtains the honor of the Member Spotlight.

In all seriousness, there's no real set interval (or at least one that's been adhered to; I think it's supposed to be every month), and it tends to be someone who's been standing out, and sometimes on the reccomendation of the previous Member Spotlight.

In reality, there are several factors that influences who is selected for the Member Spotlight. Those factors tend to change over time. So ultimately, there is no specific method for choosing someone. However, it helps if you are an active poster and have been around the site for a while.
