Best Places for EXP by Level

I always see people asking what the best place is to gain experience. Well, here are my recommendations for the current missions.


1-5 Hive C
5-15 Hive B
15-20 VoC B/Hive B
20-25 De Ragnus B/Hive B
25-30 De Ragan B
30-35 De Ragan A/Lab A
35-40 Mizu S/LL S/ Hive A
40-45 Lab S/Hive A
45-50 Agata S/Onma S
50-55 Hive S/Agata S
55-70 De Ragnus S/Hive S

Add in some Bruce Runs between 40 and 70 to max type level.

Comments and suggestions are welcome, I will edit this table if there are better places.

If in a party Hive B is better than De Ragnus B. You can do almost twice as many Hive B runs as De Ragnus runs.

If it was up to me I'd have it adjusted like:
1-10 Linear Line C
5-15 Hive C
5-35 Valley of Carnage C
5-35 Train C
15-40 Hive B
20-40 Train B
30-45 Agata B
35-45 Valley of Carnage B
40+ Hive A
40+ Mizuraki Defense S
45-55 Valley of Carnage A
50+ Agata S - probably the best spot, except have fun getting people to come
50+ Onmagoug S
55+ Valley of Carnage S
60+ Hive S

I didn't include some areas because I never liked them for exp. Items maybe, exp no. Probably the biggest difference between my list and yours is that imo, you shouldn't go to an area until you're a few levels above the minimum level requirement. Minimum level in a new area usually = get killed a lot and generally be a leech. D:

50+ agata relics/Hive S will do.

VoC C is great exp. The others are pretty bleh except for bullet exp.

I don't think I would go into HIVE as any lvl 1. Between Megid, SEED Vances, those guys that shoot fire at you (their name's start with a G, I don't remember how it's spelled) and the boss at the end, you will die ALOT!

I should've been more specific. My recommendations were based on (pc/ps2) having enough meseta where dying and healing won't be an issue and being able to afford the best gear you can currently equip (including fire, light, lightning and dark armor), with high lvl friends able to help you out, so your results may differ.

That' WAY too many variables, man. What classes are your friends? Do you *really* have great gear available? Meseta does not prevent dying, and scape dolls go quick if you are underleveled. Trust me, I've been megids dead while my weapon loaded due to lag.

Bottom line: if you have friends, adventure wherever they want to...it's better XP/MP than you can get on your own. Buy an armor with a Head and an Arm slot. (Head slot for MST, arm slot for ATA)

I was trying Hive B at level 8 or something the other day. People get booting me from the party even though I said I had scapes. People are not low level-friendly. Basically all a level 5 is doing at Hive B is leeching and that's shameful. >.< Then I went to Hive C and realized it was better exp for me anyway because of the killspeed difference.

Then on the flip side, when I was level 35 in Hive B trying to do mp runs, when a level 10 would join I was always thinking "oh no, not another leech!" even if I wouldn't say it to them in game. :<
