Good weapons for a Newman Fortefighter/Fighgunner

Real newmen use claws. Nothing else is acceptable.

Erm, but on a non-fanboy case, anything works fine. Find a weapon you think looks pretty and find a PA you like with it. When you get the chance, try out all the weapons and their PAs to get their feel.

Some good stuff to have as a fortefighter are
Swords(to increase your newmans attack damage until you can use an axe)
Sabers & Daggers are good fast weapons can help you out too
Claws/Twin Claws cause thats what Rika uses and she was cool

EDIT: Also have at least one handgun for flying enemies.

honestly I'd say Axe for a Fortefighter, and Saber for a Figunner.

These weapons pack on the ATP, which is useful for newmen

people say newmans make horrible fortefighters but i saw one earlier..he did decent damage with an axe..the magic monsters casted had a smaller effect compared to when a beast or something got hit and alot of monsters do cast technics i dont see anything wrong with newman fighters...

Haha for a female FF, have an Axe...that looks soooooooooo gimped. But since im changing to a FG, I'll GRIND THE POLE with double saber PA's

Actually someone beat you to that dude. Except she wasn't really a Fighgunner she was a doublesaber(A Fighgunner that only uses doublesabers in their entire action palette). My newman was a force for like 5mins but that 75HP threw me away

If I do pick FG I will abuse the dual handgunns becuase that accuracy will make me rule.
