HELP

ok ive been trying to get online since 9 this morning and it still says an error has occured with the dns server connection and to check the network settings i have no clue what to do, PLEASE HELP ME!!

Need some info:

1. Is this the PC, PS2 pr XBox version?
2. What type of internet connection do you have? (DSL, Cable, T connection of some sort?)
3. Are you connecting said device into a modem/wireless gateway or into a router/switch/hub?
4. Is this a wired or wireless connection?
5. Give us a brief overview of exactly how you have everything setup.
