The description doesn't always tell you everything. Several melee weapons have the ability to cause status, others have invisible stat bonuses, some are part of a set, et cetera.

Buy a Mega/Stamina from the GRM slot item shop. It does the same thing as the black heart, only without the pigpenesque visual aura.

Seriously, if you don't think the visual effect on that unit is just the best thing since sliced bread then sell it.

In response to you, yes, i'm the middle. And yes, we all dressed up in "uniform" as part of a special event held by the guild I am part of. It do have a cool, black mystic aura to it. I always thought it did something really special (like making yourself immune to Megid attacks) but it's only a stamina boost of +2? Wow.

I thought STA effected the rate in which you get PP back for your weapons? It's the one base stat that never goes up. Why does everybody think it affects whether or not you catch burn, get frozen ect?

Because that's what it says in the instruction manual. STA = Stamina, affects resistance to status effects.

PP regen is only affected by what class you are as far as I'm aware.

So basically if I get that cheep-o version of the black heart, you know, the one you can buy from the store for nothing that gives +2 sta as well, that should increase my resistance to burn, ice, even megid? I'll have to try that out. Megid balls i'm ok with now, but I still get burned and frosted all the time.

All it does is bring home some easy cash if you find one for free. That and plus +50 emo if you were it(requires a butter knife for full effect).

Even if you wanted to farm it, not really worth the amount of runs to even get it since you have to get the rare runs. Even then, the rare enemies like to drop olpads/copernia more than anything else.
