Good game, GameGuard. Not only does the program do jack squat for cheating, it disrupts normal programs from functioning. Now, I've not complained about it yet but some of the issues it has, though not necessarily with PSU, are potentially very dangerous.

Firstly, I like to know what and how my system is doing. That means I like knowing my system temperatures and how much net traffic is going on. Both of those abilities are blocked with GameGuard. It doesn't matter what temperature monitor I use, or the system I use it on, or if I use it in Windows XP (32-bit), or Windows Vista 32-bit or 64-bit as all get broken.

The other monitor I'm unable to use is my network usage monitor. It simply doesn't report anything until GameGuard has shut down and the monitoring program has been restarted.

The final, although not personally affecting me as PSU is the only GameGuard 'protected' application that I've used others apparently cause problems with invalidating Windows Vista. They have formulated a fix but unfortunately not all games have been set to download the update.

While it's nice to see they made a fix, it's worrying that the program digs that deep into the operating system to 'protect against cheating'.

Oh, well, can't say I'm surprised, and I'm glad that you managed to find a way around it.
