It's been a while since I have posted in here.

My company is closing its doors in the next few days. There are few of us left there now. Two months ago, there were hundreds left. Now, there are ten.

Understanding that all things must come to an end, I decided that I should try to capture some of those memories in my own way. I brought forth the mighty pencil last week and began sculpting the memory of these lsat few souls, with whom I've spent so much of my time.

First image is shown here. This was obviously done in pen. I didn't mean for it too, but the face turned out looking just like one of the girls I work with. This one is already gone from the company for two weeks.

Second image, also done in pen. This shows my ex-wife in the foreground, her hand in a fist holding her chin up, while her shoulders are hunched. She's sitting at a desk, although you'd never know it since I didn't include one in the drawing. Standing behind her is the first attempt at a portrait of the HR manager at work. I was happy with it at first, but some striking differences in her appearance bothered me shortly after finishing it.

Third image is shown here. From left to right, we have Adam, Daniel, and Jeweli. This is where I started to get serious again with the pencil. Note the differences in shading as the scene progresses.

Fourth image, shown here. The third image is carried on here, as we can see from Jeweli's hair extending into this picture. In the foreground is Gerald. There isn't much shading to be had here since he's standing in the light. Standing behind him in the shadows is Bob. Lots of shading done on Bob. You may not be able to tell, but Bob is a white guy. The amount of shading suggests otherwise. This is because my visual aid was his drivers license photo.

Fifth image is the HR manager again. I did this one today, and captured very well her face, which isn't as long as the original from the second image. This one also fixed the eye problem from the second image. The brows have been corrected, too. The hair does not stand out so well as in the second image. I turned the paper horizontal for this drawing, which it should not have been. In order to get a better visual of how stunning her hair is, the page should have been flipped vertical, and another two vertical sheets tagged to the bottom of it.

I'll expect to do more as the last four days progress into company shutdown.
