28 Weeks Later

28 Days Later is one of my favorite films. So, naturally, I was looking forward to the upcoming sequal, 28 Weeks Later. Just a few minutes ago, randomly, a school friend IMed me and sent me a link to a trailer (http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_atomic/28weekslater/medium.html).

I must say, it looks quite awesome. Hopefully, it will be as good as the original: a smart drama film with some fast-paced horror elements.

Anyone else looking forward to it?

Looks pretty cool, and I can see that the cinematography is remaining the same (a definite plus). I doubt it'll be as good as the first film but one can hope.

Haha, hooooly crap am I pumped for that. 28 Days Later was an extremely good movie, and even if the sequel can't live up, it looks as if it'll at least be decent. Also, major bonus points for the Muse song in the trailer.

Movie looks great, though I'm kind-of drifting away from the whole survival horror genre.

I swear. If I hear another person call 28 Days Later a zombie movie(not zombie-LIKE, but actually calling them zombies), it will rain blood for a week.

It's pretty much a zombie movie. I wouldn't catagorize it as anything differently.

I...can't seem to view the clip T.T ......anyways I didn't find the original to be too....hmm...well good.

Kinda like the most recent Dawn of the Dead (which might I add, is amusingly predictable and you can laugh through it with a good friend and some pizza), it just doesn't grab the scary element.

I dunno, I guess I'm just to cynical and marginally insane. (Just like my friend.)

Same; Land of the Dead was probably the last zombie-esque movie I saw, and personally I found it to be terrible.
