I am having a hard time not getting spotted in the android room. I wish I could just fight them and move on. Is there a path though the second room that has a better chance of success?

No, you don't get anything out of this quest - There will probably be a sequel (download) released in the future, though.

Just walk around the outside of the second room it is the easiest path just stay out in front of the androids and you will be fine
