I'll definitely miss it... Was playing with a few old Ep3 friends the other day on PSU, and for some reason I just really wanted to play a good session Ep3 throughout the entire run!

Maybe we should do a petition for Sega to bring the servers back or something...

we could try a petition but ppl did the same thing after sega shut down the dc pso servers way back when. ya its sad to think my ep 3 disk is now about as useless as a paperweight or a coaster. offline ep 3 is just bad knowing youll never get to use any new cards online. well some of the ep3 veterans have all the cards but alot of us never got that far. lol. i even miss playin ep 1 and 2 now even tho i gave up on it after i was corrupted. ep 3 was so much easier to get back mostly everything i lost. well im gonna stop now. remembering ep 3 is almost enough to make me cry. almost... see yall online psu! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I got Internet back. =) I'm into my mom's home now and the wireless network is working well.

Episode 3 will never truly die. It will forever stay alive in my own personal private server, offline mode. But alas offline mode is a private server that only those physically at my location can join.

Even so, I certainly will continue to play. Episode 3 is a great game that far too many people passed up soley because it uses cards. But at least to me it didn't have a true card game feel. You saw the monsters moving and recoiling when they were hit. The story characters held items, not slips of paper. The game was implemented really well and it had a unique flare all its own.

We'll always have Offline Mode as long as we have a system that is in working order to play it on. It may not have all that online has, but at least its something.

ahh ep 3....
Was stuck offline for years, then I finally got online in 2006. Putting absolute faith into the card that won me the most offline battles, I was shocked to see how flawed it was once I was on the wrong end of Tp defense.

The first person I fought was dias. I used Kranz and we fought in Tubus. My Coveted grass assassin went up against his Crimson, and I kinda died >_<

Then we had a rematch and I used Belras And his reaction was something like "oh wow, no one ever uses that!"

I forget who won that battle , but from then on I had vowed to keep using belras untill they had officially become "My" signature monster.

Some 100 losses later, I finnaly got that title, and i had also made a lotta friends onthe way. Things were looking good untill I was Talking in the lobby with Dias and then opt Prime ran in and corrupted the both of us. The next time I was seen online, I had changed my hair from a "red-headed orland" to the red afro that I'm now recognized for. I had vowed never to change my hair untill I had gotten 100% cards. because of something that VR Raiden once said when we were talking, I started to call myself a "fro-mar" (afro human male).

It was nice how the first thing a lot of people did when they found out that I corrupted was give me Belras, "Fly" or "flying attack".

Oh and then there was mcpot. He didn't get along well with most anyone, but he could make some mean team decks.

(And then that whole "Baby Blue" episode. Thats a whole new topic altogether. >_>;;)

And then all of a sudden Psu got released and eveyone left.

Huddling together with the last group of people that I'd ever play with, all we were able to do was bump heads with each other as we complained about the people who had left and weren't there to complain with us.

During this time, I made a quake deck to beat R's maser deck, and it turned out that it kinda worked against all of his Hunter decks. O.o

And hten the server closed down before I could get 100% cards ( am at 99% >_<), so now Im on PSU looking like a clown and no one quite understands why.
