Looks like this is the final nail in the coffin for it's hardware division.

Fire up ebay and buy both. You owe it to yourself.

And the Wii is all you need. The Wii is civilization!

That's a bummer, but I have to say I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

I thought support had ended a long time ago!

Had I know, I would've called them up to order a new GD-ROM drive. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Well, gee. The thing's over six years old now if they ceased production in 2001, 'cause when did it come out? Atleast a year before that, probably more.

I think its time people let go of something if its so old(six years isn't that long, but it is for a gaming console). To think that this something so terrible and untimely would be like me trying to hold on to my N64...

Then again, when I get my Wii the first thing I'll do is buy Ocarina of Time http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

9/9/99 man! Where were you?!

I also paid $99.99 for my DC back when it was discounted to that price.

Work with Windows 2000 for a while and try telling me again six year old things should be let go of, with a straight face. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

This is a news release of something put out by SEGA of Japan. SEGA USA may be a different story. Furthermore, it says you have until the end of September to get your console fixed. I have my Dreamcast boxed up w/packing material ready to be shipped off to SEGA USA to get fixed. All I need is the $50 for repair they require.

If they hold on the blueprints and whatnots, they actually should repair you the hardware - being the only ones that *can* do it.
I have a broken J Saturn and I was planning on getting it repaired - it looks like I should hurry up with that idea... I might as well have a chat with them about the whole deal while I'm at it.

I'm not saying anyone needs to move on, heck, people still play their NESs, I'm just saying that after six years things need to improved and stuff/new consoles comong out.

And, where was I in '99? I was being too young to know what I "sega" was http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
