EDIT: Err, so I was dumb >_> ... I got it to 80, then kept feeding it until it was full, then went and got the PM device... and remembered you have to feed it the device, but now I have to wait 12 hours to make her a 432 <_> ... my question now is...

If I raise her battle level... will it carry on into the 432 series? =0

When it comes to PM's, i'm very ill informed. I'm making a pure Ranged PM (very simple http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif just how I like it). I should have it combat-ready in about six more days.

My knowledge of the PM devices is very little, and I tried doing some research on them... and came up with some decent information, but a word from someone with experience is probably best.

PSU Pedia's PM guide states the 431 uses handguns and HP restore. I find that pretty nifty, that is... if it uses it before peril health <_>

The 432 uses crossbows =0 which I thought would be quite usefull... and I hear the 432's use Sturm Buster every once in a while.

But for those who have used these PM devices... any advice?

Btw, i'm going to end up as a Guntecher (F-Human). So I wasn't too sure if i'd need the PM's resta handy or if it's still a good idea to keep around. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Since you're a -techer, you have access to Resta & other techs, you can take 431 for a more offensive-ranged style. But 432 is also OK if you want a variation. They are both better than 430, really.

Out of those two, 432 is more useful.

Jellen and Sturm Buster are way more useful than HP restore, especially if you can heal it yourself.

I have a 432. She switches between her jellen crossbow (useful), and her light twins (less useful). She does not fire the crossbow or twins often enough to impress me, but at least the jellen is 100% appply.

She has only used her SUV one time, meh.
But heck, I'm a Guntecher, so I did not need the Hp regen, I'll drop a resta or 2 and heal her.

Having used both on my Ranged PM, I'd go with the 432.

The 431 has better dialogue and doesn't go wandering off by itself, but doesn't seem to shoot much. It has a Rifle with Dark bullets (not sure of the SE level) and a sinlge handgun which appears to just be a neutral element with no elemental bullet or SE.

The 432 is much more useful if only for her very powerful Crossbow, she does more damage than me (CAST Guntecher 75/10 with level 21+ Crossbow BA's) if all three bullets hit. And it also sticks Jellen 100% to anything it hits. I find she shoots alot more frequently than the 431 and her SUV is an added bonus.

Good choice.

Here's the icing on the cake: The 432 heals for alot more.

The device only changes her form/look & attacks/ spoken lines. Everything else should be the same, synth boards & Battle lv.
