Funny stuff.

I like to think of my self as entertaining, or at least mildly humourous. I make a witty remark, and my friends usually laugh. It seems most of the people here, and on other forums however, don't understand my jokes. The only things they find funny are at another person's expense. I do not find those funny, but despicable.

Basically, if you're too dense to find it funny, or you just don't find it amusing, don't run into the topic screaming insults left and right to try and get a chuckle. ESPECIALLY if the former is the case.

Obviously the only way to be funny here (with the exception of a few people who seem to be able to tie their own shoes) is to poke fun at other people, which I refuse to do. Compounded with the fact that the mods seem to frown on me being clever, I'll stick strictly to making people feel stupid with facts, not insults.

Sorry, just posting my own thoughts really.

Mods, I promise. From now on, my intellect stays in the check room with the rest of the site's.

I never said you were stupid if you didn't find it funny. I was implying that people who don't understand shouldn't jump in and derail the topic.

Like I also said; people at school laugh. My friends and family laugh.

This was hardly meant to be entertaining. Like I said at the end of my post. I was simply posting my thoughts. I'm not dense enough to attempt to be amusing in a forum where people come to vent.

Of all the sites Ive used, gaming forums are amongst the most bitchy, aggressive, loudmouthed places ive seen- not a day goes by without some major argument http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Maybe just step down the humour in the PSU section- people take the game very seriously, and hate to see anyone dare to crack wise, or even worse, insult it.

Your joke sucked - deal with it. It was an obscure reference to a thread that most people browsing the forum probably didn't even read or gave a shit enough about to etch it into their memory. It's like starting to tell a joke at one end of a crowded auditorium and then going to the other side to tell the punchline - and then getting pissy because noone gets it.

If you want to tell jokes, then start a thread in General Discussion or FKL... at least then people will be more receptive to it.

Dry Humor + "Who the hell are you again?" + Time passed durring suspension (even if just a 24 hour one) = WTF did you expect people's reaction to be?
