i got a wacom for an early birthday present a few days ago, so i've been playing around in ps all day. i think i've somewhat got the hang of layers and opacity and stuff. yay.

well, here's the outcome. it's my amazing level 18-or-something newman soolayah. i switched to 360 a few weeks ago, but voice chat scares me and i have no friends, so i haven't been playing much. xD

i can't seem to be able to draw hair that doesn't look like utter crap, so i killed it. serves it right, even though it kind of looks worse now. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
i was way too lazy to attempt a background, but i managed some... dirt and floof-floof clouds.
... colors seem to get really bleached out once the image leaves ps? weird.
oh, and does anyone know what's actually written on the braves belt? somehow i don't think it's 'you love tofu'.

Aw, that's cute http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif The colours don't look too washed out here. PS has a colour calibration tool, that it loads up only when it's running, so images look different (but closer to the "truth" i.e. print output). Find and run the colour calibration, so it's set up right. You can turn it off too, but it might have unexpected results depending on your monitor settings.
