I think I hate Al rappys.

So I've been doing the "fake in yellow" quest in Vhard mode looking or al rappys.

So after about 4 hours of telepipeing I find a few or ten or fifteen.
I find 15 of them total.
But No rare Item!
Really....I think I must be the most unlucky PSO player.

Here's a funny story. I spent up until level 80 on the Dreamcast looking for an Al Rappy. Never saw one.

A family member makes a character, pops into the Forest and in the second room? Wham. an Al Rappy.

Since every thing is random, it is possible to not get a rare drop from a rare enemy, but those odds are very slim for 15 Al Rappies. Maybe you did something in the past life and its come back to get you?

They know that you are looking for the items they have, and they do not want you to have them.

It actually may be your ID. If you have something that has a very low drop rate, well then there is your explanation.
It's like throwin a die.
Lets say your drop rate is 1/6( for the sake of a six sided die.) If you throw anything besides a 1,
No rare item 4 u. If you get a 1 on the other hand, then you can say," OMG RED BOXXE!!!"

^ Al Rappy drop rates is 7/8 for all IDs.

I just say you are having terrible luck and the game hates you in general.

What version of the game are you playing? To not get a rare from 15 consecutive VHard Al Rappies on the GC version is bordering on the impossible - The odds are [1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8]x[1/8] = [1/35184372088832]

Therefore, either drops have been disabled by you cheating in some manner (possible without realising it), or you're just talking rubbish.

just cause its near impossible doesnt mean it is, and that he cheated or is lying, with my humar i found about 7 and never got any either, its only half of what he got, but still. AL i saw was in f1, the beach like room that usually has a moth. i was lv 10 and he could floor me back then, took bout 2 mins to kill him, and i almost died more than once. and, in the case of possible cheating, do you have a wep with more than 1 high percent, or like, a sjs with 3 % filled?

The PSO gods hate me.
I dont even own a AR to cheat with!
And now after the 15 I found about 4 more in the last 2 days....still nothing!
Can someone please, list all the was that one can cheat to make the drop rate 0%. Because to my knowings I'm am not cheating.

A friend of mine did the photon drop trick once on this data....could that be whats causing my misfortunes?

Since that Photon Dropx99 trick is a dupe, that's why you aren't finding any rares.

Dupes do not affect rare drops. Stacking above normal limits does affect rare drops.

List your EXACT equipment you are carrying while finding Al Rappies.

Yes I did find the problem......and yet....still no droping.

Back on the DC v1 my character was around 70ish and I had never seen a rare monster back then...
When my brother just started he found an Al Rappy on his first run through forest.
Right when he called me over to show me the Al Rappy it hit him for critical damage and he died. Felt a little sorry for him but that didn't stop me from bursting out laughing...

Man he was pissed...
TP'ed back and it was gone.

I never piped, cause I don't wanna fudge up my GC...

But I did go and kill 646 Rag Rappy on Vhard[bluefill] without getting a single Al Rappy... and I didn't get any Rappy Wings for 601 kills of that bluming canary...

I was lucky that once the Al Rappy apeared, I got my Elysion...

I actually got an elysion from a hard chaos bringer. But alas, just then my Gamecube threw up one of it's hateful errors. Now I am forced to kill a swathe of yellow penguins like the ill-fated jing-dono.
