Battle: Weekly Battle Event at Fridays & Wednesdays - New In

I'll be hosting a Battle game every Friday at 10pm eastern. I think the best lobby to meet in would be 8.

I are teh suck at battle mode, so please, be gentle.

So, hopefully get to meet some Battle players every Friday at 10pm EASTERN, Antares/08, lobby 8.

I'm a PSO vet, but have never played battle mode. I totally switched my schedule at work from working nights 6 days a week to mornings 5 days a week just to be able to play with more people =D. How hard is Battle mode to pick up? I can imagine it's a little harder without a keyboard.

Not especially. Battle Mode is mostly cheap tactics. Hiding then coming out and bashing your openant with your kick ass weps. Or if your doing the rule where you both start at level one and get no weps, well then, that's another story, if your a HUcast or RAcast...you automatically win. Though I've beeten the "Masterlass" (Yeah my arse) =P Cube in battle mode tehehe. I don't play it that much because i think it's boring. I'd rather level + find rares and do c mode.

You've got it all mixed around. RAcast is just about the worst class you can be if you are doing the lvl one rules. Forces dominate those ones.

its kinda stupid to use megid in battle because other than only forces can use it but anyways megid at lv 5 in battle cost 150 tp to cast which is too much and it nearly never hits :/

Prof_Frink will be leading battle nights on Wednesdays 9PM PST. Because our block is usually full, Wednesday BA nights will take place on Antares 10.

Prof_Frink is not a newcomer to Battle Mode, he has been playing BA since the DC days and is a true BA vet. Those of you familiar to BA might already know him. He's taking residence in PSOW as our BA Guru.

Can't the BA schedule start earlier than 9PM EST? A lot of people have to get up for school/work the next day. 8 or 8:30 I think would be a lot better, that's still 5 - 5:30PM PST.

Well Capsulecorp, I seriously doubt that the first few times you played battle mode you were highly skilled and could beat anyone you played!

We all start off as "noobs "at some point or another, and all that jj wants to do is practice so he can get better! And you run in here and start flaming him? Tone down your ego a bit and maybe help somebody instead of attack them!
