So... The english version has finally gone gold after over 6 months since it's been out in japan. I've been waiting half a year for more Haseo...anyone else excited to know we'll soon be getting our next installment of this series?

btw...even though i like the game... i suggest anyone who hasn't bought it and doesn't care to have their own copy too much, just rent it, or wait till the final volume comes out and buy that and rent the others. Why? because the games are 15-20hours long if you do everything, that is .hack and .hack//G.U. so if you've bought all 5 games thus far without the special edition stuff you've roughly spent $250 for 100hours which is just a bad ratio...game time should be equal to double the amount of money you spent on it to be worth the money. ESPECIALLY with GU since it stops you from going past lvl 50...while the previous 4 games you could lvl to your hearts content ^.^

Haseo is such an asshole. But the storyline is interesting. And PI!

He's also 17. Most of the guys I knew were assholes at 17. And the god-awful Roots series kind of enhances the reasoning behind his attitude. But he does come around.

I do agree on the story, though; by the climax of Vol. 3, I didn't want the story to end. I actually wish it would keep going.

Yep, I'm pretty excited.
I bought all the games so far. half for full price, half reduced.

The first game of G.U. was quite a twist in "the world." I'm not saying I think it's a good change or bad one.. but I do like the idea of expanded worlds.. unfortunately that came at the price of more limited field designs and dungeon layouts..
Overall though, I think it was a good game. I felt pretty into the story in the end, especially when Ovan told Atoli about Shino.
