Summit Moon Questions

I read the item combination guide, and I still have a few questions. I have a magic rock moola, and if I decide to make the summit moon I have to use a max grinded cane series.

It lists the different types of canes and a level requirement. Cane lvl 100, club lvl 130, etc. What exactly does the type of weapon used affect? Does it change just the physical stats of the summit moon, or does it affect the MST boost and/or the lightning attack damage?

Nothing special...

Special weapons don't differ from each other, except for % (note that certain ones, like the various AGITOs are an exception)

So I would be better of making the lowest level one possible?

Well... there in lies the dilemma. If you convert a low-end weapon you get it faster. However, it's more likely that you can find a high-end weapon with good %. Even though it doesn't matter too much for FOrces, it's something to consider, especially if you end up trading the item later on.

Bascially, it's a question of how fast you want one and how much does % matter to you. I tend to favor the latter over the former, but I'm in the minority.

Yeah, I see your point. I don't melee at all, really, and I don't play online. However, in games before (and in making a Greenil HUmar) I have learned never to be too hasty and op for the easy way out.

However, I can't imagine myself doing anything with it but casting the free zonde alot. Still, the difference between 100 and 130 is not really a big deal because my FO is currently 28.

Another good reason to wait until you get to level 130 and use the club instead is because of the max grinding. Grinding a regular ol' cane to its max to use on the rock is A WASTE, considering the max grinding for a cane is ridiculously high. Unless you have about 70 grinders, it would be best to wait until level 130 and use only 10 on the club.

Clubs have a lower max-grind? I thought they all took a whopping 99 shots.

Also, I'm assuming if I find a +5 club, that counts as grind. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see why I would be.
