Gal Gryphon drops...... where...?

I have fought Gal Gryphon several times and I have yet to find ANYTHING that he dropped...

I am curious where does the actual dropped items show up...
Do you have to kill him while he is on the ground?

Everytime I have defeated him he was flying and he just went to the edge of the platform and took a nosedive... but I never could really tell what side he went off at...

help me maybe.

He always drops off the cliff, whether he's in the air or on the ground when you kill him.

His dropped item is always in the middle of the crates, right out from the teleporter. Atleast thats where it's always been for me.

Abdur is right.

Another way to describe it would be as such.

When the Gryphon is doing his death animation, you can see part of the battle ground.
If your character is on screen, make him/her run to the center of the screen. Once you've done that run directly towards down... (relative to yourself, as you watch the tv screen). You will eventually run "off screen". When you run off screen, that is basically where the item will appear (if anything is dropped).

Sorry for the confusing explanation, I hope you got the jist of it.

So far for me, he has dropped Photon Claw on Hard Mode, and Mahu on V hard. Nothing on Ultimate yet.
