I've been getting more lately. I'm finally out of hibernation mode and back into 'go outside and wear myself out' mode.

It's probably safer to take Vitamin D then get out there with Vitamin D + Ultraviolet Rays >_>
And I really don't like sunny days as much as I do ... partly cloudy days, where it's like, 75f degrees out, little breeze.
Maybe I should move up just a state or two http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

You can have worse side effects from over doing the Vit D supplements.

Only takes 15 minutes or so outside in the Sun, not going to kill you.

As of last summer, I get a lot of sun during fishing season from work (its an outside job, so I have very little choice).
Otherwise it's kept limited to what I get from watching my friend's band competitions, what comes in the windows of my house, going between classes, between buildings and my car, and whatever comes into the car http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif.

Me and the big bright ball of burning bright shit in the sky don't get along well.

I work nights, and it's dark from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep.

I leave my house to go to school, where I stay inside and cook all day.

Or to go to the mall with my buds, where I stay inside of it and fuck around half the day.

Or I go to a bud's house, where I do the same shit I do at MY house; stay inside and play video games.

No. I do not get sun.

Sunlight? It burns usssss. :/

Under the assumption that this is meaning, like, going outside and intentionally taking part in some activity that begets lots of time in the sun... Not really, unless I'm working on the yard.

I do have a window, though. I prefer natural light in the house, anyway.

But back on the topic of sun...
Personally, I love the sun. It's a pretty sweet star, makes everything light 'n' warm 'n' such. And I much prefer sunny days to any other sort. Having said that, though, I really don't spend much time outside--mostly walking to classes, work, locations of food procurement, etc. That's just when I'm at school; during semester breaks I mostly go outside at night.

I live five minutes away from the beach in SoCal (Southern California). I get plenty of sun. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Most of my work is indoors though... but I make sure to get sun. Sun is actually good for you, if you don't overdo it. Don't be a pansy. >:)

Even though I live where I live, people still go to tanning salons here. Will someone explain this to me? lol

Skin cancer scares? Thats funny.

Yeah since the days are warmer I've been going out more and more for walks and fishing, and of course doing work around the house.

I love the days because the sun makes the beauty of things around you much easier to see. Especially in the Spring when things are blooming, it also makes for good running weather. So I go out for runs on the sunnier days, it'll be harder once the humidity of the Summer comes along.

However nights have a cool atmosphere to them, the moon can be rather enchanting. I love the pale light that allows one to see each object vaguely in a different light from the daytime (no pun intended). It's funny how the same place can seem like somewhere entirely different depending on the time of day.

What's this 'sun' you speak of?

Seriously though, I don't go out for the purpose of being outside. I walk to and from University, that's enough outside for me.

Heh, it's never sunny in England anyway. Would you like some sleet with your icy winds? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif

if anything the sun should be destroyed! It's too bright, It kills people children and animals, it makes it hot out side, and it leaves people wounded if standing outside too long.

Uh. No.

I like going outdoors, though I've been trying to de-tan myself a little (not working, stupid Florida).

What Haya said made sense after reading it twice.

oh, i go out, but only during sensible times -- evenings. i mean, what's this nonsense about waking up in the morning and going out into the radiation and heat to be 'productive'? life is about partying and evenings and looking beautiful and avoiding wrinkles. sunlight gives you none of those things. though it does provide energy for plants to grow, which is useful. i mean, something has to produce my recreational pharmaceuticals...

It takes me 15 minutes to walk to school, and everything up here is a freaking commute, so yeah, I get sun. I try to be careful though, because I hate getting a tan >.> But, give me sunshine on a not-too-hot day with a cloudless sky and a little breeze , and I'll be set for fun in the sun. :3

We got a football game planned for tomorrow after school (I'm aware that it's Saturday). Hope the weather holds up, it's been awesome! n.n

From August of last year until March, I didn't go outside during the day because I had a night job, then I had no job for a bit, now I have an outside job. T_T

Sun = bad for skin, lol

I'm 25, but everyone I meet thinks I'm like 16 since I don't get any sun, so my skin doesn't get all fucked up. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif I know a woman my age who looks like she might be in her late 30s to early 40s cuz she goes tanning a lot. I live in the UK so take a guess. It's raining right now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif I prefer cloudy and rainy anyway 'cause then that means no flies and maggots. Seriously I hate Suimmer. Last year our neighbours left a load of rubbish in the ginnel between our house. Me and my brother had to take some stuff from the back garden, down the ginnel, to the skip outside the front door. So's I happily pick up some crap bed we had. Get's caught on next door's rubbish in the ginnel (this was a hot day by the way, so it stunk). Bag falls over as it was on top of yet more of next doors rubbish, and the next thing I know the bag splits and all these flies and maggots bounce everywhere. I legged it back inside. Then for the next few months, we had maggots crawling round the back yard and at the front door, thanks to next doors rubbish and that bloody sun blaring it's heat down, allowing flies to breed rampant in all our wheelie bins thanks to the council collecting our rubbish once every 2 weeks http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif I check out of habit now if any maggots are around. Man I hate flies.

P.S it was a heat wave too, so it really stunk. Roll on Winter.
