Where can you find mag cell at?

Hi everyone i was just wondering has anyone stumbled across some good ol fashion mag cell?and what does the branch of paku paku do to a chao and who drops the heart of chao?

Only way to get a mag cell so far was in the halloween quest, which is gone now.

ok thanks i was just wondering because i have not found any yet no i know that i can discontinue my search and one more question wheres the best place to go looking for a spread needle?
