Does anyone know when the Japanese PSO version 1.1 comes out/came out and where I can get or Pre-prder it??

So far, the news is that you must purchase the ver1.0 and make an exchange. Ver1.1 will not be sold in stores.

The question of when or if it'll even go on sale... is still exactly that, a question.

Sonic Team is not going to sell it. Therefore it is impossible to get without first exchanging the v1.0 disk. To exchange you must have a valid japanese address.

What if someone in Japan buys the game, exchanges it for v1.1, and sells it to me on ebay or something... would it work, or are the serial numbers and access keys tied to each individual game disc?

i think it's funny that they would actually not eventually sell the updated version, how much money they bleed having to replace all those disks?

when i replaced my disc i had to go to this site to register my seral number and access key. when i got my new disc i just used the ones from the old one. but with out a japanese adress me thinks its impossible

If Sonic Team isn't going to put the v1.1 on sale, they must really think that the importers are to blame for the new dupe bug. That is a stupid thought. SO many JP players had those dupes.

there was a post once about a company that replaces v1.0 with v1.1 even if the buyer hasnt bought the v1.0-copy at theirs in the first place.
but how was the shop called? four letters... n was in it, s and c maybe too, but definitely it ended with an x... hn...
please help (_ _)

edit: did a second forum search but no luck...
please help - its quite a popular import-online-shop i guess - just the name would be nice but the link to that particular thread i mean would be even nicer
thank you very much in advance

edit2: maybe once the v1.0-version is completely sold out factoryside they'll sell v1.1 regularily, who knows...

NCSX is the company that you are thinking of, right now from what I heard, they are only doing the exchange if you bought v1.0 from them.

If you have the cash to do so, you could subscribe to a japanese remailing service. That way you have sega send the disc to the service, and they mail it to you.

it won't work. you have to send them a copy of the NCS invoice along with the game so they can verify you ordered it from them...
