My most moronic one is HANDS DOWN, the time when I played a RAmar...and...tried to kill everything using close combat with a handgun >.<..I didn't get very far...as you might imagine >.<

Anyway there are four that really stood out for me.

The first was my first time taking on the dragon as a FOney, I finished it off with zonde and it landed on me, so I died and got no EXP... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

The second was when I got one-shotted by Flow while I was attacking his ankle with my Blade Dance.

when i was a noob lol me and my friend went through the forest ok then a al rappy and a hildeblue in the same room popped up and we died and spent like 3 hours finding out why we never saw one before AND THATS HOW I FOUND PSO-WORLD

i am a humar and was at a very high level , i beaten ruins i was going to defeat very hard dark falz, i defeated him many times, since i had a % mechgun and shifta the boss only survives 8 seconds in each transformation, at the last transformation i become unlucky and he got time to steal my soul, i waited and casted grants, but i was in a hurry so when the soul was getting to me, something crossed my mind and i started attaching him, bad choice, my health droped fast to a very low level, so low that vhard dark falz defeated me using the blade slash, i was soooooooo angry, how could that boss defeat an almost perfect humar?

Well i've got one...

I was piping torrs for frozen shooter for about six hours...then i saw one. I was happy, beating him up and i had a phone call. I decided to hit him one more time as he chased me out of the room. I got out the room and turned around, he was pretty far away from me...he shot his megid breath...i didn't know in ults that could still hit you when you're outside the room.
I watched the animation of his megid go slow-motion, stood there like a dumb ass and watched it kill me.

Fun stuff.

there was once i was in a room with a indibelra near the closed door with a few arlans, i went to make a close combat, i tought that by beeing behing the indi belra i would not only use him as a shield but i would damage all the arlans and the indi, guess i was wrong, in that particular zone beetween the closed door and the indibelra i could not target, and before i could get out the arlans closed the 2 way outs, i was stuck and the only thing i had was techs, used resta for a long time in hope of getting invencibility, as you know casting a non letal pb or tech would make all the arlans to attack at the same time, causing an instant death to any player, so i waited for the 100 pb bar, waited, casted resta.......at the 100 pb my mag didn't cast invencibility, i could not wait no more, made a strong pb, they did not died, but i did thanks to a multiple arlan hit......
it happen to me a few mothns ago the same, i kinda forgot that in that zone i can't target, did exactly the same thing, but i got invencibility, so i could cast techs to free me.

Mine happened a long time ago as well.

I actually managed to die at the hospital in v.1. Though in my defence, it was because some A-hole was standing behind me spamming Resta PK each time I revived at the counter. Normally that'd kinda tick me off - but he kept screaming "O'DOYLE RULES, O'DOYLE RULES, O'DOYLE RULES" over my corpse. I just had to laugh.

(Reminds me of the jokes we used to play on randoms - hitting the TP's a split second before our killing blow so that we appear dead on P2. Some random would join and head to the bank, then see our corpses strewn about the TP screaming "OH GOD, IT'S HORRIBLE! DON'T GO DOWN THERE, JUST RUN!")

I usually end up dieing when I'm trying to hit enemies with a special attack. I hate when it misses, so I just keep trying, not bother to heal or anything 'til I hit 'em with the special. Worst was Ult caves with my female ranger, Ramarl I think. Missed about 20 times with Bringers Rifle special and got killed. Just call it that obsessive compulsive disorder or something like that. I ain't satisfied inless I hit an enemy with a special attack.

I got one from last night.

I was piping Mills for a p-wand and i was having fun Three hours without seeing one and i got two in the same room, had about 3 scape dolls on me. Well i was piping the six in addicting food, as soon as i came out and noticed one of the mills i went to kill it asap. I got shot in the back, and when i died i got turned around. I revived and ran toward the mill again, but i didn't know i had two so i though i was running at the same one. Two steps in i got hit with another megid.

After i realized that i had two i went for the door and got hit by about four ob's megid and survived, made it out the door...i went in with the frozen shooter, picked off all the obs, then one mil and got grants lv 6. Soon as it died i got shot in the face byt the other mil at the same time i froze it with the friggen FS...it had shot megid already as soon as i froze it, but i got frozen from the gun's special and couldn't get out of the way...

it was a long battle lol.

one times i shot a rafoie at a dragon with a lv 30 char on hard,he fell and killed me. another time on ult, i killed the dragon solo, and when it was dyign on the ground, i was under its neck. FROZE ME AND I DIED! oh btw, first time i met an ob lily, i typed to my friend. oh that looks cool! meanwhile he shouts, move you idiot! i saw the megid. "wah?" bamf! "ummmm, im guessing THATS megid?"

oh yea i forgot, one time i was running around in an ob lily room with 3 friends, none of us had dollz, so i run in, bam, dead. my friend comes in to save me but he's blasted and dies, a ranger came in to freeze them all but he frozen shooty betrayed him and he died. so its all up to the force. he runs in, gets me with reverser, and as soon as im up we both get hit by megids, and fall right next to each other, facing the same way, at the same time. LOL

Recently, David, AKA Toaster_Boy, and our friend, Eric, were playing challenge mode in the Caves. David chose to play as Davidicus and Eric as Ryuho. They were nearing the end of Caves 3, and Davidicus moved ahead of Ryuho.

Davidicus- "Hey, Ryuho! I can see the exit!" *BOOM*

He ran into a trap at the last second. He died in one hit.
I can only imagine one of those moments in anime where the hero runs ahead, then suddenly gets that "eh?" kinda look on his face, then boom. Needless to say, Eric was laughing his butt off as they came up to tell me how it went.

I would vote for something but i've yet to see something really out there, usually just stuff i've heard before.

AlexCraig's comment reminded me of something i had happen when playing with my wife a few months ago.

I was hunting with her through ruins looking for rares and we hadn't seen anything for about two hours. Pretty long time actualy, but we had fun. I recall an item dropped aout of a dark bringer and i went running for it, laughing at her. I had a FOneweral at the time and she had a HUcaseal...well she was yelling that she wanted it and i was being greedy, maybe four steps before the item a friggen trap blows and she strolls up to pick up the item, laughing the whole time.

Uhh... memorable? Probably the time I somehow ended up surviving 9 Megid blasts which all came pretty much at the same time (this is on Addicting food, mind =]). Ran around being immature, shouting 'You can't get me!' and stuff like that.

Got killed by a Rag Rappy this morning in very hard Fake in Yellow while using my Soul Banish on my newly created Hucaseal (great battle animations by the way). I used it in the area where you see that guy dressed as a rappy for the second time. I was impatient so I thought I'd kill all 7-8 of them quickly by hitting them all with beserk. After that, I had little energy and didn't move quickly enough......one peck and I was dead http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif I haven't been killed by a Rag Rappy for years. Luckily I had a Scape Doll.

yea omg, one time online he stole my soul, and i told my teammates not to hit him, and one guy, (ppresumably a hacker, proceded to do 8000 dmg with a stag cutlery humar. i got no exp and was kinda pissed.

Alright, please proceed with enjoying this topic about gruesome deaths.

On that topic, one type of death I find particularly aggravating, is death by lag.

Every now and then I picked up items by accident, when pressing an attack button. And in a small portion of those cases, I would be unable to move or do anything for a few seconds. Until the server is sure that I can have that item, it will not allow me to do anything. And due to lag it needs those extra seconds to clear things up. And sometimes when that happens, I really, really needed that attack which made me pick up the item, to kill or freeze something very badly. Because a Del Lily, or a Meri, or an Ill Gill, to name a few, will kill me, if I stand there motionless a few seconds.
The outcome of this string of coincidences is invariably my death.
And it's extra annoying, because I would have had a few seconds to see what was coming. It's not a surprise attack, it's an attack when I'm utterly helpless, and in the server's mercy. And the server must assume that whichever kills me, makes me stronger.

I lol'd irl at one of my stories with that

1. Same with the dragon, on Very hard with 3 of my friends.. 4-player to clear it up.
2 of my friends died, and were dead the whole time, i killed the dragon at the same time as he landed (flying wise) on my friend and i, killing him only. Having about say 15ish health and from being hit and falling down from him landing on me i couldnt get back up in time and he fell on me and we all were dead.. and i saw a special weapon ;(

2. As I said before.. this story.
It's when you do so much damage and he hits the more powerful one (me, I was level 50ish and my friend was like 21) he had my soul and use that blade slashing move and hit me down to almost being dead since i had about 3/4 of my health anyway..
With my friend not paying attention Dark Falz came out of his invulnerablility and my friend shot him as fast as he could, killing me then right before he used a moon atomizer he died by the grants.

3. I just remembered this one!
My other friends and I were playing this and we were all low leveled (lowest to highest me being lowest) 7,10,12,15
I was dead the whole fight vsing De Rol Le, and I really got bored and The second they killed De Rol Le (which took like 20 mins), I accidentally pressed return to Pioneer 2.

They were so pissed hahah..

I think the most moronish dead I had was at level 14 with my force.

we was going to kill dark falz but I was only level 14 and my friend were like 41 and 72^^

I just died because of a technique he did one of my friend was supose to come and get me back to life with a star atomiser. but cause he had is mag he did it on dark falz and then He killed it, I never had my experience, I was going to kill him.

I never played again with that force I think I delete it ans start a new one

This didn't actually happen to me but I saw it happen to my brother. He was playing with his HUmar in ULT ruins. He was in a room with a few arlans and a Death/Chaos Bringer (horsey).. anyway after dodging the death bringer's charges a few times he has managed to take out the arlans. as the last one falls, the death bringer charges again.. my brother, with about half HP runs to a green door and the safety of the corridor; makes it by the skin of his teeth. the deathbringer stops in the doorway and 'vents' his frustration. anyway, my brother, from the safety of the corridor turns his character back round to face the death bringer. in 'real life' he looks at me and says 'haha he's angry coz he could'nt hit me'. at that moment- as if in response -the death bringer raises up his sword arm and slashes down- quick as a flash. he connects with my brother's character's head THROUGH the open doorway, killing him in one mighty blow. we both stare onward with open mouths as the death bringer looks back for and instant, and then dissapears, while the screen goes red..

One time I was doing a run through the ruins in ULT with my HUcast and I got captured by a Bulclaw to try and get some more exp and all then one second later a Dark Bringer came and ran over the both of us. That's got to be the most messed up way I died.

I only have 2. 1st 1 happened when I was doing The Fake in Yellow. I went 2 the bathroom while my HUmar was in a seemingly empty room. I comeback, there's only 1 rappy, watching my corpse. And I had all my meseta with me....... The other was when I was facing vhard 3rd form falz. I had almost killed him, so I stopped 2 use resta, and he slaps me dead from the other side of the circle!

lol, out of all the years I've played...I dont think there isnt somethin thats killed me. Ive died only a few times so far this year...Mostly by the Arlans trapping me with a Gran Soceror around and usin megid on me. (ive only got like 18 edk right now...celestial sheild)....that and way back, when i get gang whacked by evil sharks and those damn rappies. They still make me mad til this day. Never have cared those lil things. Ultimate Ruins...and Seabed are the things kill me most I'd say.

I have one from yesterday. I was helping my friend level up his HUcast, and I was trying to level up my new HUmar. He's level 10 and I'm level... 6. So we go through Forest 1, np, he hits everything once with a gun and I run up with a Saber and finish them. We get midway through Forest 2 and I run out of healing items. I have like most of my life left so we decide to keep going. We're in the room with the teleporter. We kill all the enemies and I have around 20 life left. I start wishing that I'd played as my level 40 RAcast. He goes "Huh, I guess we killed everything. Why's the door still locked?" I shrug and see an orange dot outside the map. I yell "Fuck!" right as a Hildebear lands on me. My friend goes "What the hell is that?" and gets hit with a fireball. He runs up to and it punches him one and kills him.

Then our other one is about as bad. We managed to fight our way through the Ruins with him playing as my level 40 RAcast and me playing as my level 31 FOnewm. I have a lot of high level techs but don't have my level 200 mind Sato. We get to Dark Falz and start fighting the first form. I run out of magic and fluids so I run away and stand still. I needed like one more TP and I could've casted Resta on both of us. But I decided to run over to him a bit early. I make it to him only to get killed by a friggin Darvant. Damn those stupid little things.

I got a fun one from last night.

I was playing VH DF trying to get into ults with my HUcaseal. I was kicking ass and just charged my mag blast. I had already used M&Y on myself and i was good on it for a bit, so i decided to hit him with the golla blast. As soon as i hit my mag blast (when hes coming down from grants) it targets him...i didn't realize that he was just about enough health to steal my soul. I'm watching him takem y soul while yelling NOOOOOO, he grabs me up, my mag hits him, i die.

Well this death happened to me recently.

I was doing a VH ruins run for experience and rares. I make it to Dark Falz. He doesn't stand a chance against me. So at his third form he steals my soul. I wanted to kill him quickly and I had 4 Dragon/HPs. So I use my mechs to pwn him. each hit doing 100 HP except for 2 critical hits. I died because of my combo. But i had scape dolls,so I killed him back.
